Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of 00 Kush
00 Seeds keeps a low profile about the lineage: the breeder describes 00 Kush as a cross of the best Indica genetics that was stabilised in Northern California, and names no individual parent strains. That establishes the direction – an Indica-dominant line with little-branched growth and dense, resinous flowers. The manufacturer does not give a ratio in per cent. 00 Seeds puts the THC content at 22%; the breeder does not state a CBD value. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod: female plants grow, and flowering only begins when you switch the light cycle to 12/12. If you prefer to work without switching the light, you will find in Auto 00 Kush an autoflowering strain of the same name from the same breeder.
Who Is 00 Kush For?
00 Kush is a little-branched Indica with a short flowering time. It suits:
- Growers with small rooms who need little-branched plants
- Indoor growers who would like to harvest after 55 to 60 days of flowering
- Lovers of intense citrus aromas with a sweet note
- Fans of dense, resinous flowers
- Consumers looking for a strong high for body and head
It is less suitable for anyone looking for a mild strain or with only little space outside: outdoors, 00 Kush grows 200 to 250 cm tall according to the manufacturer. You can find more potent strains under Super High THC Content.
Growing 00 Kush: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Indoors, 00 Kush flowers for 55 to 60 days according to 00 Seeds, i.e. around eight to eight and a half weeks. The manufacturer gives the height as 75 to 100 cm, elsewhere as 80 to 100 cm. For the yield there are likewise two manufacturer figures: 350 to 400 g/m² and 400 to 500 g/m². If you plan cautiously, reckon with the lower range. Because the plants branch little, they are ideally suited to small rooms according to the breeder; this allows several plants to be placed close together. The dense, resinous flowers need good air movement in the final weeks. You will find the basics in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, 00 Kush shows a different format: 00 Seeds states a height of 200 to 250 cm and a harvest in mid-October. The manufacturer does not give a yield per plant. Allow sufficient space and choose a sunny, sheltered spot so that the dense flowers stay dry in autumn. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of 00 Kush
For 00 Kush, 00 Seeds describes an intense aroma of citrus fruit with sweet nuances. The flowers are dense and full of resin. The manufacturer does not name individual terpenes or a lab terpene profile. The breeder gives the effect as a strong high that shows on a physical as well as a mental level – so it expressly emphasises the intensity. This fits the THC content of 22% that 00 Seeds states; a CBD value is not stated. If you have little experience with strains strong in THC, it is therefore better to start with a small amount. How intense the effect is in an individual case depends on dose and individual tolerance.
