Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Açai Jelly by Sherbinskis
Açai Jelly is the result of a collaboration between Sherbinskis and Silent Seeds. In this context, Silent Seeds refers to Mario Guzman, whom the breeder presents as the original creator of the line around Gelato, Sunset Sherbert and Açai Berry Gelato, and speaks of genuine Californian genetics. For Açai Jelly, two strains from precisely this family were crossed: Bacio Gelato × Açai Berry Gelato. The manufacturer gives the genotype as hybrid; it does not state an Indica/Sativa ratio. The manufacturer gives the THC content as 27 to 30% and the CBD content as less than 0.2% – that is a very high THC value. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod, so flowering only begins after the light cycle is switched. You will find a Gelato from the hands of another breeder in Gelato by Nirvana.
Who Is Açai Jelly by Sherbinskis For?
Açai Jelly is a very potent hybrid with great yield potential. It suits:
- Lovers of the Gelato family and its sweet, fruity aromas
- Consumers with a high tolerance who are used to strains very high in THC
- Indoor growers who want to harvest after 58 to 63 days of flowering
- Outdoor gardeners with room for plants 2.3 to 2.5 m tall
- Collectors of Californian genetics from breeder collaborations
It is less suitable for small gardens and for anyone looking for a mild strain. You can find more strains from overseas under US Genetics.
Growing Açai Jelly by Sherbinskis: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Silent Seeds gives the indoor flowering time as 58 to 63 days and states a yield of 550 to 620 g/m². The manufacturer gives no information on the height under artificial light, the structure of the plant or suitable training methods. However, the outdoor size suggests a vigorous plant; so allow for enough ceiling height and watch the stretch after the switch to 12/12. With strongly aromatic strains, a carbon filter is part of the basic equipment, and good air movement keeps the flowers dry in the final weeks. You will find the basics on climate, light and training in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
For open ground, the manufacturer states a size of 2.3 to 2.5 m and a production of 1,450 to 1,550 g per plant. Harvest runs from late September to early October. Such figures presuppose a spot in full sun, plenty of root space and a long vegetative phase; in practice, yields can turn out lower depending on conditions. Support the shoots in good time, because the weight of the flowers increases sharply towards the end. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Açai Jelly by Sherbinskis
Silent Seeds sums up the flavour of Açai Jelly in three terms: fruity, kush, sweet. Elsewhere the manufacturer also speaks of delicious Gelato scents and aromas, which fits the lineage from Bacio Gelato and Açai Berry Gelato. The manufacturer does not name individual terpenes or a lab terpene profile. Nor does it give any information on the type of effect – so we deliberately do not add any assessments of our own. Only the stated cannabinoid content is certain: 27 to 30% THC with less than 0.2% CBD. That is a very high value, and you should dose correspondingly carefully, especially if you are not used to strong strains. How intense the effect is depends, as always, on dose and individual tolerance.
Note: Effect information is based on manufacturer data and user experience and does not constitute medical advice.
