Acid 10 seeds
Acid Seeds – The NYC Diesel Version by Paradise Seeds
What is Acid? Acid by Paradise Seeds is a feminised, photoperiod hybrid with 60% Indica and 40% Sativa – the in-house version of New York City Diesel, created from a Diesel mother and Dutch genetics. It flowers for 65 days indoors and, according to the manufacturer, yields 400 g/m²; outdoors it ripens in late October with 700 g per plant. A sourish grapefruit aroma with a metallic, slightly petrol-like Diesel note and a strong, uplifting high are typical. The strain suits Diesel lovers with good odour filtration – in the feminised seeds category. Available in packs of 3 and 10 seeds.

Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Acid
The original Diesel was developed in the USA. Paradise Seeds has made its own version of New York City Diesel from it: the breeders selected a Diesel mother plant and crossed it with their favourite Dutch genetics, which they do not name in more detail. The manufacturer counts Acid among its next-generation strains; it is said to be stronger and more potent than the original Diesel and likewise to bring high yields. The ratio is 60% Indica to 40% Sativa. Paradise Seeds does not give a THC value in per cent but rates THC with three stars and CBD with one star. In its list of awards, the breeder includes the 6ª Copa THC Valencia 2016 (Indoor). The seeds are feminised and photoperiod. As an autoflowering variant, Auto Acid is available in our range.
Who Is Acid For?
Acid is a Diesel hybrid for everyone to whom aroma and effect matter more than inconspicuousness. It suits:
- Diesel fans looking for the metallic, slightly petrol-like flavour
- Indoor growers with reliable air extraction and a good activated carbon filter
- Outdoor gardeners in warm, sun-rich regions
- Consumers who appreciate an uplifting, inspiring high
- Night owls, to whom the manufacturer recommends the strain as an energy boost for the evening
Acid is less suitable if you have to grow with little odour or live in a region with a short summer – outdoors, harvest is not until late October. You can find strains for the grow room under indoor strains.
Growing Acid: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
In the fact sheet Paradise Seeds states 65 days of flowering, elsewhere 9 to 10 weeks – the two are consistent. According to the manufacturer, the yield is 400 g/m². In flowering, the smell becomes quite fruity and so strong that it can become a problem without good filters: so plan for a powerful activated carbon filter and check it before flowering begins. If odour control works, the bouquet is, in the breeder's view, one of the plant's most sought-after qualities. Paradise Seeds does not give a plant height or training recommendations. You will find the basics on air extraction and climate in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, according to Paradise Seeds, Acid also grows in the northern hemisphere up to the 50th parallel, but yields there are not as impressive as in warmer areas. The strain responds strongly to sun and above all rewards growers in Mediterranean locations from Spain to Croatia. The manufacturer states 700 g per plant as the yield and late October in the northern hemisphere as the harvest time. For Central European locations that is late: a spot in full sun and protected from rain, or a greenhouse, reduces the risk in a wet autumn. The breeder does not state an outdoor height. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Acid
Flavour and smell gave the strain its name: Paradise Seeds describes them as metallic and slightly petrol-like, which is said to correspond to the typical flavour of Sour Diesel. The fact sheet adds sourish grapefruit. The manufacturer does not give a lab terpene profile. It sums up the effect as strong, overwhelming and uplifting: a positive, soaring high with a slightly psychedelic touch, good for inspiration and, in its words, also as an energy boost before an evening out in the nightlife. The breeder does not give a THC value in per cent, but it rates Acid as stronger than the original Diesel. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.

Indoors, 65 days, i.e. 9 to 10 weeks. Outdoors, harvest in the northern hemisphere is in late October.
