Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Amnesi-K Haze
Kannabia gives the lineage of Amnesi-K Haze as Jamaican-Laos × Afghani-Hawaiian. According to the strain description, it comes from a classic Sativa line with genetics from Afghanistan, Laos, Jamaica and Hawaii, complemented by a touch of mountain Indica. The breeder speaks of its own, stabilised version of a timeless classic that was once regarded as the queen of the Dutch coffeeshops. Kannabia does not state an exact ratio of Sativa to Indica. According to the manufacturer, the THC content can reach over 20%; there is no CBD value. The very heavy trichome production is highlighted, which makes the strain interesting for hashish and other extracts. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod, so flowering only begins after the switch to 12/12. For comparison with a Haze from a different breeding programme, you will find Amnesia Haze by Nirvana in our range.
Who Is Amnesi-K Haze For?
Amnesi-K Haze combines Haze character with a flowering time of 9 to 10 weeks. It suits:
- Haze fans who like sweet citrus aromas with spicy notes
- Growers who want to make hashish or other extracts
- Outdoor gardeners in warm, Mediterranean locations with plenty of space
- Indoor growers with enough headroom for a strain that stretches
- Consumers looking for an alert, stimulating daytime strain
It is less suitable for low grow boxes and for anyone looking for a heavy, body-focused effect in the evening. You can find other potent strains under Super High THC Content.
Growing Amnesi-K Haze: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Indoors, according to Kannabia, Amnesi-K Haze flowers for 63 to 70 days, i.e. 9 to 10 weeks; the breeder states a yield of 500 to 600 g/m². The plants grow quickly and have a slight tendency to stretch, as is typical of Sativa strains. So plan for enough height or keep the shoots flat by tying them down early. Towards the end of the grow, the manufacturer recommends lowering the temperature to improve aroma and flavour. It also describes the strain as naturally resistant to mites and other pests. Kannabia does not give an indoor height in centimetres. You will find the basics on climate and training in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, Amnesi-K Haze develops into very large plants with long branches and dense flower clusters that grow over 2 m tall. According to the manufacturer, it shows itself at its best in a warm, Mediterranean climate. The breeder gives September to October as the harvest time and 600 to 700 g per plant as the yield. Long branches with heavy flowers should be supported in good time; a sunny spot sheltered from the wind helps as well. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Amnesi-K Haze
According to Kannabia, the flowers of Amnesi-K Haze are long, dense and hard and coated in plenty of resin. The breeder describes the aroma as sweet and citrusy, combined with earthy notes and hints of cedarwood and incense. For the flavour, it names cardamom, lime or mandarin and a hint of diesel; overall it describes the flavour as pleasant and smooth. The manufacturer does not state a lab terpene profile. It portrays the effect as euphoric and inspiring: an alert feeling with rising concentration, fitting for the morning, for brainstorming or creative work. With a THC content that can reach over 20%, the strain is strong. How intense its effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
