Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Amnesia Haze
By its own account, Royal Queen Seeds created the regular Amnesia Haze with the genetics of the Original Amnesia Haze; the breeder does not state a crossing formula. The strain consists of 70% Sativa and 30% Indica, which shows in its growth: long, tall plants with thin-fingered fan leaves. The THC content is 22%, and the data sheet lists the CBD content as medium, without a figure. Because these are regular seeds, male and female plants are produced. This makes the strain interesting for anyone who wants to collect pollen and start their own breeding projects; the manufacturer describes the female plants as robust and high-yielding. The strain is photoperiod and only flowers after the switch to 12/12. If you want exclusively female plants, you will find a feminised line in our range in Amnesia Haze by Nirvana.
Who Is Amnesia Haze For?
In the regular version, Amnesia Haze is a strain for growers with patience and breeding ambitions. It suits:
- Growers who can plan for 10 to 11 weeks of flowering
- Hobby breeders who want to collect pollen and set up their own crosses
- Selectors in search of a Haze mother plant
- Outdoor gardeners in warm, sunny locations or with a greenhouse
- Experienced consumers who appreciate a strong Sativa high
It is less suitable for anyone who wants to harvest quickly: 10 to 11 weeks of flowering and an outdoor harvest in late October call for planning. You can find more lines under regular Sativa strains.
Growing Amnesia Haze: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Indoors, according to Royal Queen Seeds, the plants grow 80 to 140 cm tall depending on pot size and training method. After 10 to 11 weeks of flowering, the manufacturer states 600 to 650 g/m². With regular seeds, it is best to germinate more seeds than the number of plants you want to keep and determine the sex in pre-flowering; male plants are removed, or set apart if you want to obtain pollen. Training helps to keep the stretched Sativa growth under control, and the long flowering time demands consistent conditions right to the end. You will find the basics on this in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
According to the manufacturer, Amnesia Haze only really thrives outdoors, provided it is warm and sunny enough. In tubs or raised beds the plants reach 175 to 210 cm and deliver 650 to 700 g per plant; according to the manufacturer, you reach the upper end of the yield range under controlled conditions in a greenhouse. The large plants use up a lot of nutrients, and high-quality organic compost in the soil is recommended. Harvest is in late October – in cooler locations that is late. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Amnesia Haze
With every puff, according to Royal Queen Seeds, Amnesia Haze reveals complex aromas: citrus, earthiness and pepper, and the data sheet adds a herbaceous note. The manufacturer does not state a lab terpene profile. The column-shaped buds contain 22% THC. According to the manufacturer, the high sets in strongly and quickly, which is why it advises taking it slowly at first; the strain is said to have a reputation for delivering an almost psychedelic high, and its strength should not be underestimated. In the data sheet the effect is also listed as physically relaxing, long-lasting and strong. With regular seeds, individual plants can differ somewhat. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
