Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Amnesia Lemon
Amnesia Lemon is a cross of Amnesia Haze × Lemon Skunk. Barney's Farm describes a Sativa-dominant hybrid with 60% Sativa and 40% Indica and sums it up as a blend of citrus freshness and cerebral energy. The plants form a medium-tall structure with long, dense colas; the leaves are dark green with slight orange tinges, the flowers resinous and fragrant. The breeder gives the THC content as about 20 to 22% and does not state a CBD value. It describes the genetics as robust and fast-growing. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod, so flowering only begins after the light cycle is switched. You will find strains bearing the names of both parents individually in our range from other breeders: Amnesia Haze by Nirvana and Lemon Skunk by Royal Queen Seeds.
Who Is Amnesia Lemon For?
Amnesia Lemon is a daytime strain with a strong citrus profile. It suits:
- Lovers of lemon aromas with a sweet and spicy note
- Growers who want to maximise the yield with SOG or LST
- Indoor growers looking for a medium-tall plant with compact growth
- Outdoor gardeners in sunny, warm locations
- Consumers looking for a stimulating strain for creative hours
It is less suitable for damp locations, because the manufacturer requires protection from high humidity to prevent mould. You can find more strong strains under feminised seeds with high THC content.
Growing Amnesia Lemon: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Indoors, according to Barney's Farm, Amnesia Lemon flowers for 60 to 65 days and stays medium-tall and compact at 100 to 110 cm. The breeder states up to 500 to 600 g/m² and recommends classic techniques such as Sea of Green (SOG) and Low Stress Training (LST) to maximise the yield. The strain prefers well-draining soil with a moderate nutrient content – so feed rather sparingly. Regular air circulation and protection from high humidity are important so that no mould forms in the long, dense colas. The Growpedia provides background on climate and training.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, according to the manufacturer, harvest falls in early to mid-October. Under optimal conditions, up to 800 g per plant is possible. Barney's Farm recommends sunny, warm climate zones; the breeder does not state an outdoor height. Outdoors, too, make sure the location is airy and protect the flowers from persistent wet in autumn. You can find more strains for open ground under feminised outdoor seeds. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Terpenes of Amnesia Lemon
Barney's Farm describes a complex terpene profile with limonene, caryophyllene and myrcene; the breeder does not state quantities or lab values. In the aroma, fresh citrus notes meet sweet, spicy tones, joined by exotic, earthy nuances and a strong lemon freshness. The manufacturer describes the effect as intense and cerebral: uplifting, creativity-boosting and energising, with a clear head and euphoric thoughts. It recommends the strain for the daytime or for creative activities. At about 20 to 22% THC, Amnesia Lemon is strong; anyone who is sensitive to stimulating strains should start low. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
