Genetics & Origin of Auto AK-47
With Auto AK-47, Serious Seeds offers its AK-47 as an autoflower – the breeder speaks of its multiple award-winning AK-47, which is now finally also available in an autoflowering version. Serious Seeds does not say which genetics were crossed in for this; parent strains are not stated. The manufacturer describes the type as mostly Sativa, without percentages. For the THC content, the data sheet shows the level "very high"; a figure is missing. On CBD, it says the strain contains only THC and no CBD; the data sheet lists the CBD content as low. The seeds are feminised and autoflowering: the plants go into flower independently of the light cycle. If you prefer the photoperiod original strain, you will also find AK-47 by Serious Seeds in our range.
Who Is Auto AK-47 For?
Auto AK-47 brings the AK-47 into a short cycle. It suits:
- AK-47 fans who do not want to wait for a photoperiod flowering time
- Growers who would like to get from seed to harvest in 70 to 80 days
- Indoor growers with limited height – the plants stay at 75 to 100 cm
- Outdoor gardeners looking for a strain that is independent of day length
- Consumers who prefer a strong, THC-focused strain
It is less suitable if what matters to you is as much yield per plant as possible: the manufacturer states 75 g at most. You can find higher-yielding autoflowers under High Yield & Short Flowering.
Growing Auto AK-47: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
According to Serious Seeds, the entire life cycle takes 70 to 80 days, counted from seed to harvest; the manufacturer does not give a separate flowering time. You do not have to switch the light cycle. The plants reach 75 to 100 cm in the end. Serious Seeds does not state a yield in g/m². Because the plants smell quite strongly, a carbon filter is part of the basic equipment. Autoflowers do not forgive pauses in growth well: it is best to put the seedlings straight into the final pot and do without hard training. You will find the basics on light and feeding in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
According to Serious Seeds, Auto AK-47 can be grown anywhere indoors or outdoors. Outdoors, according to the manufacturer, it is ready for harvest 70 to 80 days after sowing; in one place Serious Seeds states a flat 70 days. The data sheet puts the yield per plant at 45 to 70 g, while elsewhere the manufacturer speaks of 40 to 75 g. It states the height of 75 to 100 cm without distinguishing between indoors and outdoors. Time sowing so that the whole cycle falls in the warm, bright months. You can find more strains for open ground under automatic seeds outdoor. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Auto AK-47
Serious Seeds describes quite strongly scented plants with full, large flowers covered in resin crystals. The smell is sweetish and fruity, plus a little lemony and a little spicy. The manufacturer does not state a lab terpene profile. Serious Seeds simply describes the effect as strong; the breeder gives no further details on the type of effect. This fits with the data sheet's rating of the THC content as "very high", even though a percentage is missing. According to the manufacturer, CBD plays practically no role: it speaks of a pure THC strain. So start with small amounts, especially if you are not used to potent strains. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
Note: Effect information is based on manufacturer data and user experience and does not constitute medical advice.
