Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Auto CBD-Victory
Auto CBD-Victory is a cannabinoid speciality: Dutch Passion calls it the first commercially available seed strain with CBDV, and that in a CBD to CBDV ratio of 1:1. The in-house gene pool “Research Genetics” served as the starting material; after four years of development work, the strain came onto the market. The breeder describes it as a hybrid with Sativa, Indica and Ruderalis genetics and gives the ratio as 75% Sativa to 25% Indica. It does not name specific parent strains. According to the manufacturer, the dried flowers contain about 4 to 6% CBD and 4 to 6% CBDV, and the THC content is guaranteed to stay below 0.3%. The seeds are feminised and autoflowering. Also from Dutch Passion is THC-Victory, which you will find in the same range.
Who Is Auto CBD-Victory For?
Auto CBD-Victory is aimed at anyone who is not after THC. It suits:
- Growers looking for a strain with CBD and CBDV and very little THC
- Indoor growers who plan a short cycle of around 10 weeks
- Gardeners with limited space who prefer compact to medium-sized plants
- Growers who cultivate in a greenhouse or outdoors
- Consumers who prefer a clear, non-intoxicating effect
If you expect a THC high, this strain is the wrong choice for you. You can find more autoflowering strains under autoflowering seeds.
Growing Auto CBD-Victory: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Indoors, according to Dutch Passion, Auto CBD-Victory needs about 10 weeks from sowing to harvest, and that under 20 hours of light per day. Because it is autoflowering, you do not need to switch the light cycle. The breeder describes vigorous growth and a compact to medium plant structure; it does not give a height in centimetres. The plants form large, dense, corn-cob-shaped flowers. Dutch Passion states a yield of about 400 to 450 g/m². As there is little time in the short cycle to make up for mistakes, consistent conditions from the start pay off. You will find the basics in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
In a greenhouse and outdoors, according to the manufacturer, the strain usually needs 10 to 12 weeks. There is therefore no harvest month – it depends on the time of sowing. Per plant, Dutch Passion states 50 to 150 g of dried flowers on average. You can find more strains for outdoors under automatic seeds outdoor. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Terpenes of Auto CBD-Victory
Dutch Passion describes the aroma as woody and floral, with notes of pine, coniferous wood and rose. The flavour is slightly fruity with sour and sweet-floral hints; elsewhere the manufacturer speaks of a light, sweet vinegar note. The breeder names myrcene, caryophyllene, limonene, bisabolol and humulene as the most common terpenes but does not give measured values for them. The effect is described as clear and relaxing and, according to the manufacturer, is not psychoactive – with a THC content below 0.3% and about 4 to 6% each of CBD and CBDV. According to Dutch Passion, there is still a lot to research about CBDV; we do not add any statements on it. How you perceive the effect depends on dose and personal sensitivity.
