Genetics & Origin of Auto CBG-Force
Auto CBG-Force comes from Dutch Passion's CBG breeding programme. The aim was a strain that produces a lot of cannabigerol (CBG) and very little to no THC at all – first as the photoperiod CBG-Force, then as an autoflowering version. The breeder does not say which parent strains were crossed in, nor does it give Indica and Sativa shares; according to Dutch Passion, the plant leans slightly towards the Sativa side in its growth. The manufacturer gives the CBG content as around 10% on average, with individual plants reaching up to 15%. For THC, Dutch Passion measured 0.04% on average in its own tests, and the breeder gives a range of 0.05 to 0.2% – less in the tests than its photoperiod sister, which was closer to 0.14%. It does not state a CBD value. The flowers look white and frosty but are not sticky.
Who Is Auto CBG-Force For?
Auto CBG-Force is a specialist strain for those interested in cannabinoids. It suits:
- Growers who specifically want to grow CBG-rich flowers
- People looking for a strain without an intoxicating effect
- Indoor gardeners with little headroom, because the plant usually stays under one metre
- Growers who want to raise a small autoflower outdoors
- The curious who would like to get to know an unusual terpene profile
If you expect a classic high or a high CBD content, this is not quite the right strain for you; you can find CBD-rich strains under CBD seeds.
Growing Auto CBG-Force: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
As an autoflower, Auto CBG-Force flowers independently of the light cycle. Dutch Passion states 11 to 12 weeks from seed to harvest; the data sheet speaks of 12 weeks. According to the breeder, the flowering phase is slightly longer than usual for autoflowers; it recommends giving the strain the full 12 weeks. The plants stay relatively small, usually under one metre, and produce about 400 to 500 g/m². Do not expect sticky flowers: they look white and frosty but, according to the manufacturer, are not sticky like THC- or CBD-rich cannabis. You will find the basics on light, substrate and climate in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Dutch Passion describes the strain generally as relatively small, usually under one metre; there is no separate height figure for open ground. For individual plants, the breeder states 25 to 100 g of dried flowers. There is no fixed harvest month with autoflowers: reckon on 11 to 12 weeks from germination – outdoors, according to Dutch Passion, it can take one to two weeks longer depending on the climate – and schedule sowing for the warm, bright season. You can find more autoflowering outdoor strains under automatic seeds outdoor. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Terpenes of Auto CBG-Force
Dutch Passion describes the aroma of Auto CBG-Force as floral and spicy with notes of mint, pine and wood. The flavour is slightly sour and floral, joined by lemon and cinnamon. The breeder names caryophyllene, terpinolene, bisabolol, guaiol and ocimene as the five most abundant terpenes. According to the manufacturer, the effect is mild and the strain does not get you high. That fits the cannabinoid profile with around 10% CBG on average and a THC content of 0.05 to 0.2%. We deliberately make no statements about the health effects of CBG. Even with a non-intoxicating strain, the following applies: how you perceive it depends on the amount and on your personal sensitivity.
Note: Effect information is based on manufacturer data and user experience and does not constitute medical advice.
