Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Auto Colorado Cookies
Auto Colorado Cookies is one of the US lines in Dutch Passion's catalogue. The breeder combines its own Auto Blueberry with a Girl Scout Cookies cutting from Colorado, which it describes as exceptional and which is known for a powerful Indica stone and a sweet, tropical mango flavour. Dutch Passion calls the result one of the strongest Indica-dominant auto genetics the house had found up to that point. The manufacturer does not give a percentage for the Indica share; it speaks of "mostly Indica". For THC, too, it leaves it at the rating "very high" without a figure; it does not state a CBD value. The seeds are feminised and autoflowering, so flowering sets in independently of the light cycle. You will also find the parent strain Auto Blueberry by Dutch Passion in our range.
Who Is Auto Colorado Cookies For?
Auto Colorado Cookies combines a manageable cycle with a powerful Indica effect. It suits:
- Growers who want to get from seed to harvest in around 11 weeks
- Indoor growers with little headroom, as most plants stay at about 75 cm
- Growers who rely on yield per area in a Sea of Green
- Lovers of sweet, tropical and berry aromas
- Consumers looking for a very relaxing effect for the evening
It is less suitable if you expect large individual plants outdoors – the manufacturer states an average of 50 to 100 g per plant outdoors. You can find more strong autoflowers under autoflowering seeds with high THC content.
Growing Auto Colorado Cookies: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Dutch Passion states an average of 11 weeks from seed to harvest for Auto Colorado Cookies, and elsewhere about 10 to 12 weeks. The manufacturer does not list a pure flowering time separately; the light cycle does not need to be switched. Most plants reach around 75 cm, individual outliers 100 to 125 cm. The breeder states a yield of 450 to 500 g/m², and in a Sea of Green it considers more than 600 g/m² possible as well. Because autoflowers have hardly any time to make up for stalled growth, it is best to put the seeds straight into the final pot. The Growpedia gives an overview of light, climate and feeding.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, Dutch Passion states an average of about 50 to 100 g per plant. The manufacturer does not give a separate outdoor height or a harvest month – with an autoflower, the harvest date depends on the time of sowing anyway. Place the cycle in the warmest, brightest weeks and choose a sunny, sheltered spot. You can find more strains for outdoors under automatic seeds outdoor. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Auto Colorado Cookies
Dutch Passion describes the aroma as sweet, tropical and berry-like; the breeder attributes the sweet, tropical mango flavour to the Girl Scout Cookies cutting. According to the manufacturer, individual plants turn out earthier or woodier. The breeder speaks of a special terpene profile but does not name any individual terpenes. By its account, the effect is typical of an Indica: strong, long-lasting and very relaxing, combined with the intense feel-good high that it ascribes to the Girl Scout Cookies side. This makes the strain a better fit for the evening than for an active day. Dutch Passion rates the THC content as very high; the manufacturer does not give a percentage. So approach dosing with caution: how intense the effect is depends on the amount and personal tolerance.
