Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Auto Cosmos F1
Royal Queen Seeds presents Cosmos F1 as the world's first F1 CBD cannabis strain. According to the breeder, its genetics descend from Oregon CBD; it does not name a more precise cross. Within the company's F1 range it is the tallest autoflower and at the same time the strain with the highest CBD concentration, while the THC content is only 0.5%. The data sheet does not give a CBD value in per cent; it merely says "very high". As an F1 hybrid it shows pronounced hybrid vigour, according to the manufacturer: the plants grow to the same size and develop the same tall, elongated Sativa structure in a Christmas-tree shape with light green leaves. The seeds are feminised and autoflowering. Another F1 hybrid from the same breeder is Auto Medusa F1.
Who Is Auto Cosmos F1 For?
Auto Cosmos F1 is a CBD strain for everyone to whom uniformity matters more than intoxication. It suits:
- Growers who would like to harvest flowers with plenty of CBD and only 0.5% THC
- Anyone who values a uniform crop with plants of equal height
- Gardeners who want to harvest in around 80 days without switching the light cycle
- Lovers of pine, cookie and pepper aromas
- Consumers looking for a clear, meditative effect without intoxication
If you expect a THC-driven high, this strain is not the right choice for you. You can find more autoflowering strains under autoflowering seeds.
Growing Auto Cosmos F1: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Auto Cosmos F1 flowers automatically, so the light cycle does not need to be switched. Royal Queen Seeds gives the actual flowering phase as 45 to 55 days; 75 to 85 days pass from germination to harvest, and elsewhere the manufacturer speaks of 80 days. According to the data sheet, the height is 70 to 100 cm. Because F1 hybrids grow very uniformly, the space is easy to plan: all plants reach roughly the same height and form the same slender structure with many flower clusters full of long, fine flowers. The manufacturer does not put a figure in g/m² on the yield; the data sheet only names the class "XXL". The basics on light and substrate are in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
For open ground, Royal Queen Seeds gives no separate details on height, harvest window or yield per plant. As the strain flowers independently of day length, what matters most outside is that the 75 to 85 days to harvest fall in a warm, bright period. A sunny spot sheltered from the wind suits the tall, slender growth habit. You can find more strains for outdoors under automatic seeds outdoor. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Terpenes of Auto Cosmos F1
According to Royal Queen Seeds, the aroma of Auto Cosmos F1 combines fresh pine with the full-bodied, almost creamy scent of modern Cookies strains and a distinct peppery sharpness. As dominant terpenes the manufacturer names myrcene, farnesene, limonene, pinene and caryophyllene; the data sheet lists farnesene, limonene, myrcene and pinene as the main terpenes. Because of the high CBD content and the low THC value of 0.5%, the breeder describes a balanced effect without intoxication: clear and meditative, the body relaxes while the head stays functional and focused. The keywords in the data sheet are focus, clear and meditative. Even with a CBD strain, how it feels depends on dose and individual tolerance.
