Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Auto Cream Mandarine XL
Auto Cream Mandarine XL is the XL version of Cream Mandarine Auto from Sweet Seeds. For this fourth-generation autoflower, the breeder crossed the original strain with an elite clone of Súper Tai '98. According to the manufacturer, this brings more height – up to 150 cm – as well as Sativa-accented spiciness and an aroma of mandarin and wood. The strain is 100% autoflowering and goes into flower independently of the light cycle; the seeds are feminised. Sweet Seeds describes the growth as vigorous and the buds as large, compact and covered in a thick layer of resin. The strain description gives no information on the THC and CBD content or on the ratio of Indica to Sativa. The manufacturer attributes the relaxing side of the effect to the Cream Caramel side of the genetics; Cream Caramel is in our range as a strain in its own right.
Who Is Auto Cream Mandarine XL For?
Auto Cream Mandarine XL combines autoflower speed with an impressive size. It suits:
- Growers who want to harvest around 9 weeks after germination
- Indoor growers with enough height for plants of 110 to 150 cm
- Yield-focused growers aiming for 450 to 650 g/m², according to the manufacturer
- Outdoor gardeners looking for a vigorous, weather-resistant autoflower
- Connoisseurs of mandarin, spice and wood aromas
It is less suitable for very low grow cabinets and for anyone who values a stated THC figure – the manufacturer does not give one. You can find more high-yielding automatics under High Yield & Short Flowering.
Growing Auto Cream Mandarine XL: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
For indoor growing, Sweet Seeds states a cycle of about 9 weeks from germination – meaning the entire time until harvest, not just the flowering phase. The manufacturer does not give a separate flowering time. The plants grow 110 to 150 cm tall; the strain description gives the yield as 450 to 650 g/m². The light cycle does not need to be switched. Because the growth is vigorous and Sativa-accented, it pays to think about room height early on and to gently tie down the shoots if necessary. The large, compact buds benefit from good air movement. You will find the basics on light and climate in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
For open ground, Sweet Seeds states 50 to 300 g per plant and describes the strain as vigorous, weather-resistant and versatile. The wide range shows how strongly the result outdoors depends on conditions. The manufacturer states neither an outdoor height nor a harvest month; with an autoflower, the harvest depends on when you sow. You can find more strains for outdoors under automatic seeds outdoor. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Auto Cream Mandarine XL
Sweet Seeds describes the scent as sweet and spicy with fresh citrus notes and a hint of wood. In the flavour, mandarin meets spices and nutty tones; the manufacturer speaks of a complex terpene profile with an Asian flair but names neither individual terpenes nor a lab terpene profile. According to the strain description, the effect is balanced: relaxing thanks to the Cream Caramel side, with a slightly activating, creative touch from the Sativa component. Sweet Seeds calls it suitable for everyday use and puts the aroma in the foreground. The manufacturer does not give a THC value, so we do without a figure and without classifying its strength. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
