Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Auto Critical Neville Haze
According to Delicious Seeds, Auto Critical Neville Haze is one of the most Sativa-dominant autoflowers on the market: the cross of Neville Haze Auto and Il Diavolo Auto comes to 90% Sativa and 10% Indica. According to the breeder, the small Indica share comes from Il Diavolo and helps to shorten the flowering time and keep the height within bounds. The seeds are feminised and autoflowering, so the light cycle does not need to be switched. Delicious Seeds gives the THC content as 21%; the breeder does not state a CBD value. What stands out is the resin production, high for an autoflower, with a dense layer of trichomes, which makes the strain interesting for concentrates. The manufacturer rates the mould resistance as high and the pest resistance as medium. One parent is available from us individually: Auto Il Diavolo.
Who Is Auto Critical Neville Haze For?
Auto Critical Neville Haze brings a lot of Sativa into a short cycle. It suits:
- Haze fans who want to harvest in around 60 to 70 days
- Indoor growers with smaller rooms who need a medium-sized plant
- Yield-focused growers with an eye on 600 g/m²
- Extract lovers looking for a resinous autoflower
- Consumers who like a euphoric, invigorating effect for the daytime
It is less suitable for anyone looking for a calming strain in the evening; in addition, the smell is strong according to the manufacturer. You can find more potent autoflowers under autoflowering seeds with top THC content.
Growing Auto Critical Neville Haze: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Delicious Seeds describes the process as follows: after germination, the plant grows vigorously for two weeks, then flowers for 40 to 45 days; elsewhere it gives the indoor maturation as 45 to 55 days. In total, the breeder states about 60 to 70 days from sowing to harvest. The plants grow medium-sized, and because of the manageable height the manufacturer also recommends the strain for smaller rooms. It gives the yield as 600 g/m². The smell is strong, so a carbon filter is advisable. Because autoflowers have only a short vegetative phase, they should be in their final pot from the start. The Growpedia gives further advice.
Outdoor Growing
According to Delicious Seeds, the strain can also grow outdoors, even though the breeder considers its height better suited to indoor setups. For outdoors, it states 400 g per plant and automatic maturation, which it puts at 45 days. The mould resistance, rated as high, is an advantage outdoors. A sunny spot and sowing in the warm season make sense. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Auto Critical Neville Haze
In flavour, according to Delicious Seeds, Auto Critical Neville Haze is sweet with a hint of metallic notes, which is said to set it apart from other autoflowers. The breeder describes the aroma as strong, with sweet, pungent notes and a slightly metallic undertone. The manufacturer does not give a lab terpene profile. It portrays the effect as euphoric, uplifting and invigorating: a cerebral, energising high that is said to suit socialising, creative activities or getting tasks done. That makes it a strain for the daytime. The THC content is 21%. If you are sensitive to stimulating Sativas, start with a small amount; how intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
