Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Auto Ghost OG
Auto Ghost OG is the reworked Auto OG Kush from Original Sensible Seeds: for the new version the breeder crossed in the Colorado Ghost cut, and the lineage reads Colorado Ghost OG × Auto OG Kush. According to its information, this has improved flavour, aroma and effect. The manufacturer classifies the strain as predominantly Indica without stating percentages. It gives the THC content as 20% but no CBD value. As the dominant terpene, Original Sensible Seeds lists myrcene, alongside caryophyllene and limonene. It describes the flowers as nugs packed with THC crystals. The seeds are feminised and autoflowering, so they go into flower independently of the light cycle. With a Ghost OG reference in the name, the same breeder also offers Black Ghost OG and Auto Ghost Cookies.
Who Is Auto Ghost OG For?
Auto Ghost OG brings OG Kush character into a short cycle; in the shop it is rated for experienced growers. It suits:
- Experienced growers looking for a fast OG Kush autoflower
- Indoor gardeners for whom a height of 60 to 120 cm is convenient
- Growers who want to get from seed to harvest in less than 75 days
- Lovers of earthy Kush aromas with citrus and pine
- Consumers who appreciate a powerful body stone with a relaxing finish
We do not recommend it for a very first grow, even though the manufacturer describes growing it as easy. It is also less suitable if you are looking for a light, clear effect. You can find more autoflowering strains under Best Autoflowering Seeds.
Growing Auto Ghost OG: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
As an autoflower, Auto Ghost OG does not need the light cycle to be switched. Original Sensible Seeds speaks of less than 75 days from seed to harvest; the data sheet lists 65 to 75 days and calls this the flowering time. The two only fit together if the entire cycle is meant – the manufacturer does not state a separate, pure flowering time. So reckon with around 65 to 75 days from germination and judge ripeness by the trichomes. The manufacturer gives the height as 60 to 120 cm and the indoor yield as 400 g/m². Because there is little time for repotting in the short cycle, sowing directly into the final pot pays off. The manufacturer calls growing it easy; in the shop the strain is nevertheless rated for experienced growers. You will find the basics in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, too, Auto Ghost OG stays manageable at 60 to 120 cm, according to the manufacturer; it states a yield of 120 g per plant. There is no fixed harvest month with an autoflower – the sowing date is what counts. Schedule the run for the sunniest weeks and choose a warm spot sheltered from the wind. More strains for open ground: automatic seeds outdoor. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Terpenes of Auto Ghost OG
According to Original Sensible Seeds, the flavour and aroma of Auto Ghost OG remain seductively earthy but have gained a heavier background of citrus and pine through the Colorado Ghost cut. The manufacturer names myrcene as the dominant terpene, accompanied by caryophyllene and limonene; it does not give measured values for them. It describes the effect as a powerful body stone with a happy, euphoric note that turns into a dreamlike relaxation. The flowers are said to be stimulating and relaxing at the same time. With 20% THC the strain is strong – ease into it slowly. How intense the effect is depends on dose and personal tolerance.
