Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Auto Gorilla Girl XL
Auto Gorilla Girl XL, strain code SWS82, is a tall-growing 6th-generation autoflower. For it, Sweet Seeds crossed two strong strains from the Cookies family: Gorilla Girl (SWS74) and Sweet Gelato Auto (SWS76). The breeder calls the result “Super Strong”. Genetically, it states 57.5% Sativa, 42.1% Indica and only 0.4% Ruderalis, so the strain is slightly Sativa-dominant. According to the manufacturer, the THC content is between 18 and 25%, and individual specimens can even exceed this value; the CBD content is around 0.1%. The seeds are feminised and autoflowering, so flowering begins without the light cycle being switched. You will find the parent Auto Sweet Gelato in our range, as well as the related Gorilla Girl F1 Fast Version from Sweet Seeds.
Who Is Auto Gorilla Girl XL For?
Auto Gorilla Girl XL is a resinous, strong autoflower. It suits:
- Growers who want to harvest 9 weeks after germination
- Extract fans, because the breeder calls the strain ideal for resin extraction
- Indoor growers with space for plants up to 120 cm
- Lovers of sweet and fruity aromas with wood and citrus notes
- Consumers with tolerance who appreciate a stimulating, euphoric effect
If you are looking for a mild strain or a calming effect for the evening, this is less of a good fit. You can find more strong autoflowers under autoflowering seeds with a high THC content.
Growing Auto Gorilla Girl XL: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Sweet Seeds states 9 weeks from germination to harvest, indoors and outdoors alike. The manufacturer does not put a figure on the pure flowering time; it only rates it as medium. The plants grow medium-tall to tall – the breeder states 60 to 120 cm – and deliver 450 to 550 g/m² indoors. The resin production is striking: according to Sweet Seeds, the calyxes are completely covered with long, aromatic trichomes. The smell is correspondingly strong, and a carbon filter makes sense. As the cycle is short, the strain grows best directly in the final pot without repotting. More on light, climate and feeding can be found in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
For open ground, Sweet Seeds states 50 to 160 g per plant, likewise with 9 weeks from germination. The manufacturer gives the height of 60 to 120 cm without distinguishing between indoors and outdoors. There is no harvest month with an autoflower; it results from the sowing date. A spot in full sun and sowing in the warm season help to make full use of the potential. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Auto Gorilla Girl XL
Sweet Seeds describes the aroma and flavour as intense, sweet and fruity, with notes of blue cypress and woods as well as a hint of citrus and earth. The breeder does not name individual terpenes. According to the breeder, the effect is strong and above all stimulating: euphoric and distinctly psychoactive. This fits the high THC levels of 18 to 25%, which individual plants can even exceed according to the manufacturer; the CBD content is around 0.1%. Auto Gorilla Girl XL is therefore more of a strain for active hours than for falling asleep and calls for careful dosing. According to Sweet Seeds, the resinous flowers also make it a good choice for extracts. How strong the effect is depends on dose and personal tolerance.
