Genetics & Origin of Auto Gorilla Zkittlez
Auto Gorilla Zkittlez is the autoflowering version of Gorilla Zkittlez, which Barney's Farm calls a feminised bestseller of its Cali Collection. For this, the original cross of Gorilla Glue and Zkittlez was crossed again with the in-house BF Super Auto #1. According to the breeder, this line provides the robustness, the resistance to pests and stress and a root system that develops vigorously from the very first day. The result is Indica-dominant with 75% Indica and 25% Sativa and reaches 20% THC; Barney's Farm does not state a CBD value. The seeds are feminised and autoflowering, so the light cycle does not need to be switched. From the same house comes another autoflower, Auto Wedding Cake by Barney's Farm.
Who Is Auto Gorilla Zkittlez For?
Auto Gorilla Zkittlez is a compact, fruity autoflower. It suits:
- Growers who want to get from seed to harvest in 75 days
- Indoor growers with limited height who prefer plants of 80 to 100 cm
- Outdoor gardeners looking for a strain that, according to the manufacturer, is resistant to stress and pests
- Lovers of fruity aromas with a pine note
- Consumers who appreciate a euphoric, uplifting effect
If you want to control the harvest time yourself via the light cycle or take cuttings, you are better served by a photoperiod strain. You can find more proven autoflowers under Best Autoflowering Seeds.
Growing Auto Gorilla Zkittlez: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
According to Barney's Farm, Auto Gorilla Zkittlez is ready for harvest 75 days after sowing; this figure refers to the entire cycle, and the breeder does not state a pure flowering time. Indoors, the plant reaches a final height of 80 to 100 cm and, according to the manufacturer's description, grows into a kind of Christmas tree with many thick, trichome-covered flowers. The yield averages around 420 g/m². Because the root system develops strongly from the outset, it is worth sowing directly into the final pot and not disturbing the plant unnecessarily. The manufacturer gives no training advice. Good air movement keeps the dense flowers dry. You will find the basics in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, Auto Gorilla Zkittlez grows 90 to 120 cm tall. Barney's Farm highlights its robustness against pests and stress. The breeder does not state an outdoor yield per plant. As the strain flowers by itself, the entire cycle of 75 days should fall in the warm, bright months; a sunny, sheltered location is the best prerequisite. You can find more strains for outdoors under automatic seeds outdoor. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Auto Gorilla Zkittlez
With this strain, Barney's Farm puts the fruit in the foreground: the data sheet gives “Fruit Explosion” as the flavour and summer fruits as the aroma, and the breeder also describes a distinct pine scent from the flowering plant. Even on the first taste, the fruity aromas are said to sit powerfully on the tongue. The manufacturer does not state a lab terpene profile. It sums up the effect as uplifting euphoria and at the same time warns of sensory overload – the experience can be quite exciting and engrossing, it says. Barney's Farm gives no further details on how the effect unfolds, such as whether it is more the head or the body that is addressed; we deliberately add nothing on this. The THC content is 20%. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
Note: Effect information is based on manufacturer data and user experience and does not constitute medical advice.
