Auto Kong 4 is the Paradise Seeds interpretation of the very potent GG, formerly known as Gorilla Glue. It was the first autoflower in the breeder's Chong's Choice collection and, according to Paradise Seeds, bears the seal of approval of cannabis legend Tommy Chong. The starting point was an original GG cut from the USA, which the breeder combined with Pandora, its in-house autoflower that is valued for its genetic stability. This was followed by backcrossing until the desired phenotypes were achieved. Unusually for Paradise Seeds, two phenotypes were selected, one leaning towards Sativa dominance, one towards Indica dominance. Overall, the manufacturer states 60% Indica and 40% Sativa, plus 16 to 20% THC and less than 0.1% CBD. The seeds are feminised and autoflowering. Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Auto Kong 4
The two phenotypes differ in aroma: according to Paradise Seeds, the Indica-dominant one smells sweeter, which the breeder attributes to the Pandora influence, while the Sativa-dominant one smells lemony-sour and thus closer to the traditional GG.
