Auto Lemonade 3 seeds

Genetics & Origin of Auto Lemonade

The lineage of Auto Lemonade begins with Tangerine Sorbet, a Sativa from the house of Paradise Seeds that combines genetics from Wappa and Thin Mint Cookie. From this strain the breeders chose a phenotype with pronounced mandarin and orange sweetness and combined it with a selected Lemon Skunk that brings a particularly sour profile. The result is a feminised autoflower with 60% Sativa and 40% Indica. Paradise Seeds gives the THC content as 20 to 24%; the manufacturer does not state a CBD value, nor which line was used to cross in the autoflowering trait. The Sativa character shows in the upward-reaching, tower-like growth. The citrus parent side is also available as a strain in its own right, for instance Lemon Skunk by Royal Queen Seeds.

Who Is Auto Lemonade For?

Auto Lemonade is a strain for aroma lovers looking for an autoflowering plant with a Sativa touch. It suits:

• Citrus lovers looking for orange and lemon aromas
• Indoor growers with enough headroom for 1 to 1.5 metres
• Outdoor gardeners in sunny, warm locations
• Growers who would like to harvest around 10 to 11 weeks after germination
• Consumers who appreciate a clear, sociable effect for the daytime

It is less suitable for very low grow rooms and for anyone looking for a heavy, body-focused Indica in the evening. More autoflowering strains with Sativa character are listed under autoflowering Sativa strains.

Growing Auto Lemonade: Indoor & Outdoor

Indoor Growing

For Auto Lemonade, Paradise Seeds states 10 to 11 weeks from germination to harvest, a little less indoors; you do not need to switch the light cycle. According to the manufacturer, you should plan for a height of 1 to 1.5 metres, and it is usually in the middle – the fact sheet says 125 cm. The plant grows upwards like a tower: large top buds cluster around a central main cola, and the branches below carry smaller, dense flowers. The breeder gives the yield as 500 g/m². The scent is strong and zesty, so a carbon filter makes sense. If you want to limit the height, bend the shoots down early and gently. More on this in the Growpedia.

Outdoor Growing

Outdoors, Auto Lemonade grows to about 120 cm and, thanks to its Sativa genes, can spread out a little more, especially in the heat and sun of the Mediterranean region. Paradise Seeds lists it for cultivation between the 50th parallel north and the 50th parallel south; it is finished 10 to 11 weeks after germination. The yield is 50 g and more per plant, and the fact sheet says 75 g. Outdoors, according to the manufacturer, the aroma comes through a little less than in the grow room. Only grow where it is legal to do so.

Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Auto Lemonade

Citrus fruits define the profile of Auto Lemonade: Paradise Seeds describes layers of orange and lemon that already hang in the air in the grow room. The sweetness is reminiscent of a mandarin picked ripe and comes from the Tangerine Sorbet side; a sour lemon note forms the counterweight and comes through more strongly in some phenotypes. The manufacturer does not give a lab terpene profile. It gives the effect as creative and sociable: lively, with energy and clarity, but without the nervous restlessness of some high-THC Sativas. It is said to be as suitable for meeting up with friends as for creative hours and to fit in throughout the whole day. At 20 to 24% THC, the strain is potent. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
