Auto MAC #1 is the autoflowering version of the American MAC genetics. MAC stands for Miracle Alien Cookies, a blend of Alien Cookies, Starfighter and a Colombian landrace; Dutch Passion calls the line well-known and award-winning. For the autoflower, the breeder crossed a photoperiod MAC #1 with its in-house Auto Think Different. The aim was to preserve the potency of MAC and make larger harvests possible: according to the manufacturer, the compactness of the flowers comes from MAC, the flower size from Auto Think Different. Dutch Passion does not give a fixed Indica/Sativa ratio, but speaks of a hybrid with traits from both sides. The THC content averages about 20% and can reach 22 to 25% under ideal conditions. The climate is decisive: for the final phase, the breeder recommends 40 to 50% humidity and sufficient air movement, because the compact flowers are at risk of mould.
