According to Ace Seeds, Auto Malawi x Northern Lights is the breeder's first fully autoflowering strain. Old Killer Malawi and an autoflowering Northern Lights were crossed; the result is a Sativa-Indica-Ruderalis hybrid with 50% Sativa and 50% Indica. The current, improved F4-F5 version produces two main phenotypes: high-yielding Sativa-Indica plants with plenty of resin and a favourable calyx-to-leaf ratio, and an almost pure Sativa expression that grows taller, branches more openly and flowers a little longer. According to the breeder, such African Sativa phenotypes are rare among autoflowers. Ace Seeds states 10 to 15% THC, less than 0.05% CBD and 0 to 0.2% CBG. The seeds are feminised.
