Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Auto Pineapple Muffin
The US-based Humboldt Seed Company brought three lines together for this autoflower: Blueberry Muffin, Pineapple Trainwreck and Sour Apple Auto. According to the breeder, the strain contains Ruderalis genetics and therefore flowers independently of the light cycle. The breeder lists the strain as a balanced hybrid of Indica and Sativa but does not state a percentage ratio, and gives the generation as F4. Humboldt describes the plants as vigorous and mould-resistant. The seeds are feminised. The data sheet puts the average THC content at 17 to 21%; elsewhere the manufacturer states a range of up to 25%. The CBD content is 0.14%. You will also find two of the lines involved individually in our range: Blueberry Muffin and Auto Sour Apple.
Who Is Auto Pineapple Muffin For?
Auto Pineapple Muffin is a fruity autoflower with a somewhat longer cycle. It suits:
- Growers who would like to harvest without switching the light cycle
- Outdoor gardeners looking for a mould-resistant autoflower
- Growers with enough space for sprawling plants
- Lovers of sweet aromas of pineapple and blueberry
- Consumers looking for a relaxing strain with which they stay active
If you need a particularly fast or very small autoflower for little space, you are less well served by 80 to 100 days and the sprawling growth. You can find more strains under automatic seeds outdoor.
Growing Auto Pineapple Muffin: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
As an autoflower, Auto Pineapple Muffin flowers by itself; the light cycle does not need to be switched. For the entire time from germination to harvest, the data sheet states 80 to 90 days, while elsewhere Humboldt gives 80 to 100 days – so it is better to plan for the longer range. The manufacturer does not specify a separate flowering time. Humboldt describes vigorous, sprawling plants that reach considerable heights but states neither a height in centimetres nor a yield in g/m². So give the plants sufficient room and put them in their final pot from the start, because in the fixed cycle there is little time to make up for pauses in growth. You will find the basics in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
What speaks for open ground is that the manufacturer describes the strain as mould-resistant – an advantage with dense flowers. Time sowing so that the 80 to 100 days fall in the warmest and brightest months, and choose a sunny spot. Humboldt does not state a yield per plant or an outdoor height. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Auto Pineapple Muffin
The data sheet lists three keywords for the aroma: pineapple, blueberry, sweet. In more detail, Humboldt describes that the blueberry scent is in the foreground and the smoke is reminiscent of pineapple cake. The manufacturer does not state a lab terpene profile. The breeder sums up the effect in two terms: relaxing and productive. It does not give a more precise description, for instance of the duration. With an average of 17 to 21% THC according to the data sheet, and up to 25% elsewhere, it is medium-strength to strong; the CBD content of 0.14% is hardly significant. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
