Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Auto Pink Sunset by Sherbinskis
Auto Pink Sunset is the autoflowering version of Pink Sunset, which comes from the collaboration between Sherbinskis and Silent Seeds. For the automatic, Pink Sunset was crossed with Bacio Gelato Auto. Silent Seeds highlights the aromatic qualities of the original Gelato line, of Pink Panties and of Florida OG, which come together in these genetics. As the genotype, the manufacturer simply states "hybrid" – it does not give an Indica/Sativa ratio in percent. According to the data sheet, the THC content is 20 to 23% and the CBD content below 0.2%. The seeds are feminised and autoflowering: the plants go into flower independently of the light cycle. If you are looking for the photoperiod original strain, you will also find Pink Sunset by Sherbinskis in our range.
Who Is Auto Pink Sunset by Sherbinskis For?
We list Auto Pink Sunset by Sherbinskis as a strain for experienced growers. It suits:
- Experienced growers who would like to grow Gelato genetics as an autoflower
- Indoor growers who want to work without switching the light cycle
- Outdoor gardeners with space for plants 0.8 to 1.3 m tall
- Lovers of dessert aromas with biscuit and ice-cream notes
- Consumers who know how to handle 20 to 23% THC
It is less suitable for a first grow, and if you are looking for a particularly fast autoflower, you should bear in mind the stated 80 to 90 days. You can find more autoflowering strains under autoflowering seeds.
Growing Auto Pink Sunset by Sherbinskis: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
As an autoflower, the strain flowers by itself; the light cycle does not need to be switched. The manufacturer's data sheet lists 80 to 90 days under "indoor flowering time". The same value is also given as the entire cycle from seed to harvest, i.e. around 11.5 to 13 weeks from germination. Which reading applies is not clear; so plan for both possibilities, expect a rather long cultivation for an autoflower and go by the trichomes at harvest. For yield, Silent Seeds states 525 to 550 g/m²; the manufacturer does not give an indoor height. Consistent conditions pay off, because mistakes can hardly be made up for with autoflowers. More on this in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, according to the manufacturer, Auto Pink Sunset reaches 0.8 to 1.3 m and yields 115 to 265 g per plant. As the harvest period, Silent Seeds states late June to late October – depending on when you sow. Plan sowing so that the entire cycle falls in the warm, bright months; late runs with an October harvest depend more heavily on the weather. You can find more strains for outdoors under automatic seeds outdoor. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Auto Pink Sunset by Sherbinskis
Silent Seeds describes the flavour as floral, with notes of biscuit and ice-cream dessert; the manufacturer attributes this to the Gelato line, Pink Panties and Florida OG. Lemony and gassy nuances are also given. Silent Seeds does not name individual terpenes or a lab profile. The manufacturer also gives no information of its own on the effect; it is described as relaxing. With 20 to 23% THC the strain is strong, and according to the data sheet the CBD content is below 0.2%. Start with a small amount if you are not used to such values. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
Note: Effect information is based on manufacturer data and user experience and does not constitute medical advice.
