Genetics & Origin of Auto Pound Town
For Auto Pound Town, Humboldt Seed Company brought together two of its own autoflowers: Magic Melon Auto and Sour Apple Auto. According to the breeder, the Sour Apple side contributes the higher THC content, which it gives as 20 to 24% on average. Humboldt Seed Company states the ratio as 60% Sativa and 40% Indica; added to this are the Ruderalis genetics, which are responsible for the independent flowering. The breeder describes the growth as very vigorous. It does not give a CBD value. The seeds are feminised and autoflowering, so you do not have to switch the light cycle. You will also find both parent strains in our range: Auto Magic Melon and Auto Sour Apple, both by Humboldt Seed Company.
Who Is Auto Pound Town For?
Auto Pound Town combines Sativa character with a short cycle. It suits:
- Growers who want to harvest in 75 to 85 days from germination without switching the light
- Fans of Sativa-dominant strains with a strong THC content
- Gardeners with open ground or a greenhouse – the breeder rates the suitability for both as high
- Lovers of fuel aromas with caramel apple and melon
- Consumers looking for a euphoric, stimulating effect
It is less suitable if you are looking for a calming strain for the evening or need firm details on height and yield. You can find more autoflowering strains for outdoors under automatic seeds outdoor.
Growing Auto Pound Town: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Auto Pound Town flowers independently of the light cycle. Humboldt Seed Company states 75 to 85 days from germination to harvest, and elsewhere 85 days without specifying the starting point; the breeder does not give a pure flowering time. It describes the strain as very vigorous but gives neither a height in centimetres nor a yield in g/m². Because the cycle is short, it is best to put the seedlings straight into the final pot and keep light and watering even from the start. You can recognise ripeness by the trichomes. You will find the basics in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Humboldt Seed Company rates the suitability for open ground and greenhouse as high; according to the breeder, the strain is also well suited to growing on a larger scale. It does not state a yield per plant or a height. Because Auto Pound Town flowers independently of day length, the harvest date depends on the sowing date: place the 75 to 85 days from germination in the warmest, brightest weeks and choose a sunny spot. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Auto Pound Town
Humboldt Seed Company describes the aroma of Auto Pound Town with three terms: gas or fuel, caramel apple and “melon funk”. The breeder calls the flavour gassy and sweet. It speaks of fuel- and OG-like terpenes but lists no individual terpenes and no lab profile. The breeder describes the flowers as green with purple accents. Humboldt Seed Company gives the effect as euphoric and stimulating. According to the breeder, the THC content averages 20 to 24%; the strain is therefore strong. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
