Auto Red Tropicana Cookies 3 seeds

Genetics & Origin of Auto Red Tropicana Cookies

Auto Red Tropicana Cookies comes from the cross Red Tropicana Cookies × Auto Night Queen. According to the strain description, the strain is based on a limited edition of Red Tropicana Cookies, and Auto Night Queen is described there as award-winning. Dutch Passion lists the strain in the USA Special line and describes it as a Sativa-dominant hybrid that is meant to combine the vitality and complex aroma of a photoperiod Sativa with the compactness and speed of an Indica autoflower. The seeds are feminised and autoflowering. The breeder gives the THC content as 15 to 20% on average, with individual plants reaching 20 to 24%; it does not state a CBD value. The homogeneity of the line is also highlighted. Another autoflower from the same breeder in our range is Auto Mimosa Punch.

Who Is Auto Red Tropicana Cookies For?

Auto Red Tropicana Cookies combines striking looks with a short cycle. It suits:

• Growers who want to get from germination to harvest in around 11 weeks
• Lovers of tropical fruit aromas with a Kush and Skunk background
• Fans of colourful flowers, as roughly every second plant turns purple
• Growers who value uniformly growing plants
• Consumers looking for a creative high with physical relaxation

If you want to plan with fixed yield figures, you are less well served here: Dutch Passion only speaks of an XL yield. You can find more autoflowering Sativa hybrids under autoflowering Sativa strains.

Growing Auto Red Tropicana Cookies: Indoor & Outdoor

Indoor Growing

Indoors, Dutch Passion gives the life cycle as about 11 weeks from germination to harvest; the breeder does not state a separate flowering time. The plants grow quickly in the vegetative phase, form strong branches and broad leaves with thick fingers and have a stable structure. The end result is very compact, thick flowers with a dense, sticky layer of trichomes. The manufacturer rates the yield as XL without putting a figure on grams per square metre or a plant height. With such dense flowers, it is worth paying attention to good air movement in the final weeks, and because of the intense scent a carbon filter makes sense. You will find the basics on climate and light in the Growpedia.

Outdoor Growing

For open ground and greenhouse, Dutch Passion likewise states an XL yield, but neither a yield per plant nor a height or harvest month. As an autoflower, the strain does not go by day length; plan sowing so that the cycle falls in the warmest and brightest time of the year, and choose a sunny, sheltered spot. According to the manufacturer, the purple hues appear on roughly half of the plants. Only grow where it is legal to do so.

Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Auto Red Tropicana Cookies

Dutch Passion describes the scent of Auto Red Tropicana Cookies as very sweet and intense, with fruity and tart notes of tropical fruits such as pineapple, mango and citrus fruits. Added to this are earthy Kush notes and a creamy, skunky background. The flavour is sweet and zesty with clear sour and fruity citrus notes; according to the manufacturer, some phenotypes are reminiscent of blueberry yoghurt. The manufacturer does not give a lab terpene profile. It sums up the effect as powerful, creative, energising and relaxing: a creative, energetic effect in the head, combined with marked physical relaxation that is meant to make it easier to switch off. The THC content is 15 to 20% on average, with outliers reaching 20 to 24%. How strong the effect is therefore also depends on the phenotype as well as on dose and tolerance.
