Genetics & Origin of Auto Sugar Black Rose
Auto Sugar Black Rose, listed by the breeder as Sugar Black Rose Auto (DS9), was created at Delicious Seeds by crossing Critical Mass Auto with Black Domina 98 Auto. The manufacturer counts it among the tastiest autoflowering strains in its catalogue and lists it as an Indica Auto, i.e. a mainly Indica-influenced autoflower. It gives the THC content as 18%; it does not state a CBD value. The fact sheet also lists high resistance to mould and pests, a high tolerance in watering and a BHO extraction yield of 25%. The seeds are feminised and autoflowering: flowering starts independently of the light cycle. Without the "Auto" suffix, we carry Sugar Black Rose from the same breeder.

Growing Auto Sugar Black Rose: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Delicious Seeds gives the life cycle of Auto Sugar Black Rose as 60 to 70 days – this means the entire time from seed to harvest, and the light cycle does not need to be switched. In the grow room it can stay relatively short and compact; if it gets enough space, it spreads out and forms plenty of side branches. The manufacturer describes a medium-sized to tall plant of over 70 cm, which can normally reach 1 m or more, with a large central cola and many smaller flowers around it. It states the yield as 500 g/m². Autoflowers are best put straight into their final pot, as they can hardly make up for growth pauses. More on this in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, in large pots or directly in the ground, the strain can grow quite tall according to the manufacturer and form very long side branches, resulting in a wide, round plant. Delicious Seeds states 80 g per plant. According to the manufacturer, it is suitable for a summer harvest in very cold climate zones, while in a Mediterranean climate two or even three harvests per year are possible. On top of that comes the high resistance to mould and pests. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Auto Sugar Black Rose
According to Delicious Seeds, the flowers of Auto Sugar Black Rose smell sweet and fruity of oranges and other sweet citrus fruits. For the flavour, the breeder names ripe grapes and flowers with skunky overtones; on exhaling, the smoke or vapour tastes sweet and spicy at the same time. It rates the aroma intensity as high. The manufacturer does not give a lab terpene profile. According to its description, the effect sets in immediately and lasts a very long time: almost narcotic, with a state of very deep relaxation, accompanied by noticeable cerebral stimulation. The breeder recommends it to Indica lovers; it is therefore more suited to the evening. With 18% THC it is strong. How strong it turns out in an individual case is determined by dose and personal tolerance.
