Genetics & Origin of Auto Sweet Mandarine Zkittlez XL
For this strain with the code SWS102, Sweet Seeds selected an elite clone of Zkittlez. The breeder describes it as very strong and resinous, with a pronounced citrus aroma between orange and mandarin that is reminiscent of Sour Diesel. It was crossed with the in-house Auto Sweet Mimosa XL (SWS94), which likewise brings orange and mandarin aromas with it. The outcome was a vigorous, tall-growing 5th-generation autoflower with 57.5% Indica, 41.7% Sativa and 0.8% Ruderalis. The manufacturer states 19 to 24% THC and 0.5% CBD. The seeds are feminised, and flowering begins independently of the light cycle. According to Sweet Seeds, some specimens show purple and reddish flowers and leaves at the end of flowering. The strain is in turn a parent of Auto Jealousy Z XL.

Growing Auto Sweet Mandarine Zkittlez XL: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
According to Sweet Seeds, 8 weeks pass from germination to harvest. This figure refers to the complete cycle; the manufacturer does not break down how much of it flowering takes. The breeder calls the strain vigorous and tall-growing and gives 55 to 135 cm, without distinguishing between indoors and outdoors. For indoor growing it states 450 to 650 g/m². When planning your space, reckon with the upper end of the height range. Very resinous, aromatic flowers speak for a good carbon filter and sufficient air circulation. In the Growpedia you will find the basics on lighting and climate.
Outdoor Growing
For outdoors, Sweet Seeds gives 50 to 200 g per plant, with an unchanged harvest time of 8 weeks from germination. A calendar month cannot be derived from this, because with autoflowers the sowing date determines the harvest. So sow when the nights are reliably mild and choose a spot in full sun. Purple and reddish tones, which the manufacturer describes for some specimens, only show at the end of flowering. More strains for outdoors are listed under automatic seeds outdoor. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Auto Sweet Mandarine Zkittlez XL
Sweet Seeds calls the aroma delicious: very spicy Sour Diesel tones, plus orange and mango over a woody base note, with slight nuances of pine or freshly cut grass. In the data sheet, the breeder sums up the flavour as citrus, diesel, orange and mandarin. The manufacturer does not name individual terpenes or a lab profile. It describes the effect as invigorating and stimulating; it is said to promote concentration and creativity. Elsewhere, Sweet Seeds speaks of an energetic, cheerful effect, and the data sheet adds the keyword happiness. At 19 to 24% THC and 0.5% CBD, the strain is strong. How strongly it acts in an individual case depends on dose and personal tolerance.
