Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Auto Vision Gelato
For Auto Vision Gelato, Vision Seeds crossed a Gelato with a Girl Scout Cookies Auto. Thanks to the autoflowering parent, the plants go into flower independently of the light cycle. The manufacturer gives the ratio as 60% Indica to 40% Sativa. As for cannabinoids, Vision Seeds states up to 26% THC and up to 1% CBD – in each case a maximum value, not an average. The seeds are feminised. Visually, the manufacturer describes powerful buds that are coated with an incredible amount of resin and shimmer as a result. You will find a Gelato as a strain in its own right from Nirvana, and an Auto Girl Scout Cookies is also in our range; Auto Vision Kush also comes from the Vision Seeds catalogue.
Who Is Auto Vision Gelato For?
Auto Vision Gelato combines autoflowering genetics with high potency. It suits:
- Growers looking for an autoflower with a high THC content
- Fans of Gelato and Cookies genetics
- Growers with limited headroom
- Lovers of earthy, citrusy aromas with a sweet vanilla note
- Consumers who like a cheerful, clear effect for active hours
It is less suitable if you have a low THC tolerance – with up to 26% THC according to the manufacturer, it is very potent. You can find other autoflowering strains under autoflowering seeds.
Growing Auto Vision Gelato: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Auto Vision Gelato flowers by itself, so there is no need to switch to 12/12. Vision Seeds gives the flowering time as 9 weeks, and in the data sheet as ± 64 days. For the entire cycle from seed to harvest, 9 to 10 weeks are stated; the manufacturer does not give a separate figure for this. Whether the manufacturer's 9 weeks refer only to flowering or to the whole cycle remains unclear – plan in some reserve and check the trichomes. Vision Seeds puts the yield at 250 to 450 g/m² and the height at 40 to 120 cm. Plant the seedlings directly into their final pot and limit yourself to gentle low-stress tying down, as autoflowers can hardly make up for stress. More on this in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
As yield per plant, which is what counts outdoors, Vision Seeds states 60 to 200 g. The manufacturer gives the height of 40 to 120 cm without distinguishing between indoors and outdoors; it does not state a harvest date – with an autoflower, this depends on the sowing date anyway. Time the cycle for the warmest, brightest weeks and choose a sunny, sheltered spot. You can find more strains for outdoors under automatic seeds outdoor. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Terpenes of Auto Vision Gelato
Vision Seeds describes a wonderfully earthy and citrusy aroma; for the flavour, the manufacturer lists sweet, earthy, citrus and vanilla. Limonene is given as the terpene; Vision Seeds does not give a lab profile. The manufacturer portrays the effect as decidedly cheerful: you feel energised and pleasantly euphoric while staying in control and remaining mentally agile enough to approach everyday life creatively and productively. It also calls it long-lasting. With up to 26% THC and at most 1% CBD according to the manufacturer, Auto Vision Gelato is very potent – dose with corresponding caution. How intense the effect is depends on dose and personal tolerance.
