Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Auto Wedding Cake
Auto Wedding Cake belongs to the Autoflower Cali Collection from Barney's Farm. The breeder fused Wedding Cake with its BF Super Auto #1. According to the manufacturer, this auto line carries Skywalker OG traits that provide more strength: it cites increased resistance to pests and stress as well as a root system that develops vigorously from the very first day. The plant is 65% Indica and 35% Sativa and grows with very short internodes. According to Barney's Farm, the THC content was measured at 25% and the CBD content at 2.4%. The seeds are feminised and autoflowering. You will find the photoperiod original strain as Wedding Cake by Barney's Farm, and an autoflowering alternative as Auto Wedding Cake by Royal Queen Seeds.
Who Is Auto Wedding Cake For?
Auto Wedding Cake combines Cali genetics with a short cycle. It suits:
- Lovers of white, crystal-covered flowers
- Growers who want to get from seed to harvest in 70 to 75 days
- Indoor gardeners with limited height for whom 90 cm is enough
- Fans of grape and berry aromas
- Consumers looking for a deeply relaxing strain who dose carefully
It is less suitable if you want to stay active during the day: Barney's Farm itself warns that too much of it leads to deep relaxation and sleep. You can find more high-yielding autoflowers under High Yield & Short Flowering.
Growing Auto Wedding Cake: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Barney's Farm states 70 to 75 days from seed to harvest; the breeder does not give a separate flowering time. According to the manufacturer, the flowers take shape just a few weeks after sowing. Indoors, growth ends at about 90 cm, and in its words 500 g/m² is easy to achieve – the data sheet puts it more cautiously as "up to 500 g/m²". The plant has very short internodes and densely packed flowers; so ensure good air movement and keep an eye on humidity in late flowering. You do not need to pay attention to the light cycle. You can find more basics in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, according to the data sheet, the strain grows 110 cm tall. Barney's Farm gives the outdoor yield only as a per-area figure; the breeder does not state a yield per plant, so we do not list a number here. The increased resistance to pests and stress cited by the manufacturer works in favour of growing outside. Choose a sunny spot and do not sow until it is consistently warm. You can find more strains under automatic seeds outdoor. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Auto Wedding Cake
Barney's Farm describes the flavour with grapes and berries; the data sheet lists "Summer Berries". The flowers are coated in sugary-looking crystals – hence the comparison with a fine cake. The manufacturer does not state a lab terpene profile. As the effect, the data sheet lists calming and euphoric. Elsewhere the breeder urges caution: too much could send you on a journey into deep relaxation and sleep. According to the manufacturer, 25% THC and 2.4% CBD were measured – a high THC value for an autoflower. Anyone with little experience therefore starts with small amounts. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
Note: Effect information is based on manufacturer data and user experience and does not constitute medical advice.
