Genetics & Origin of B-45 by Booba
B-45 by Booba is the result of a collaboration between Silent Seeds and the French rapper Booba, who is also known as the “Duc de Boulogne”. In this context, the strain description alludes to the American bomber B-45 Tornado. The breeder gives the cross as (Florida OG × Pre'98 Bubba Kush) × Orange Punch #66; the genotype is Indica-dominant, and Silent Seeds does not state an exact ratio. According to the manufacturer, the artist's brief was to create a strain with at least 30% THC – the data table lists 30 to 32% THC and 0.02% CBD. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod, so flowering only begins after the light cycle is switched. Zkittlez 2.0 comes from the same breeder; a Bubba Kush line from another breeder is Bubba Kush by Barney's Farm.
Who Is B-45 by Booba For?
B-45 by Booba is a very potent strain for experienced growers. It suits:
- Experienced growers who want to grow genetics very rich in THC
- Collectors looking for special collaboration strains
- Outdoor gardeners in locations with a long, dry autumn
- Aroma fans who appreciate citrus and pastry notes
- Consumers with a high tolerance looking for a strong, long-lasting effect
Because of the very high THC content, the strain is less suitable for a first grow and for occasional consumers; outdoors, the late harvest is an added factor. You can find more Indica-dominant strains under Indica strains.
Growing B-45 by Booba: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Indoors, B-45 by Booba flowers for 58 to 65 days. Silent Seeds states 575 to 600 g/m² in the data table. The breeder describes the plants as rather slender, very vigorous and decidedly robust. The broad, long, deep green leaves and the short to medium distance between the nodes show the Indica influence. According to the manufacturer, resin forms early and abundantly; the flowers grow large and compact and are spread over the whole plant. Silent Seeds gives no details on plant height or training methods. With flowers this dense, good air movement and controlled humidity are important in late flowering. You will find the basics in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, B-45 by Booba ripens late: Silent Seeds names mid to late October as the harvest time. This requires a location with a long autumn that is as dry as possible, or a greenhouse. The manufacturer gives the yield as up to 1,600 g per plant; experience shows that such maximum values are only achieved with large plants under very good conditions. You should plan supports for the heavily laden shoots early on. The breeder does not state a plant height for outdoors. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of B-45 by Booba
Silent Seeds describes the aroma profile of B-45 by Booba as fruity, creamy and silky, rich and delicate, with slightly earthy and floral nuances. For the flavour, the breeder names a blend of caviar lemon and Valencia orange, accompanied by notes of fine pastry; according to the manufacturer, the aromas linger for a long time. The manufacturer does not state a lab terpene profile. Silent Seeds portrays the effect as a strong, long-lasting physical and mental experience and compares it to a steep climb in altitude – expressly not for sensitive souls. At 30 to 32% THC, the strain is one of the very strong ones and is aimed at consumers with a high tolerance. Start with very small amounts: how intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
