The first Big Bud was a vigorous Afghanica with Skunk genes and came onto the market as a clone. In Holland, stable seed lines were created from it, including a backcross with Skunk #1. For today's version, Sensi Seeds says it researched the origin of the Afghani ancestor and, in the early nineties, gained access to a prime specimen of exactly this line. According to the breeder, the backcrossed hybrid brings back the vigour of the original clone, complemented by a sweet fruit flavour and noticeably improved potency. 85% Indica is stated; the seeds are regular and photoperiod.
