Genetics & Origin of Birthday Cake X Birthday Cake X Strawbanana Cream
The long name is also the family tree: T.H. Seeds gives the genetics as Birthday Cake × Birthday Cake × Strawbanana Cream, so Birthday Cake is represented twice. The breeder lists the strain with 70% Sativa and 30% Indica. The resin production and the OG-like flowers are highlighted; T.H. Seeds calls this Birthday Cake the new OG favourite of its own crew. The manufacturer does not give values for THC or CBD. The strain is photoperiod and is offered here as regular seed: the seeds produce male and female plants, which makes it interesting for anyone who wants to select, is looking for a mother plant or would like to make crosses themselves. Another Birthday Cake strain from the breeder is Citron Givré – Birthday Cake; also available as regular seed from T.H. Seeds is, for example, French Kisz Regular.
Who Is Birthday Cake X Birthday Cake X Strawbanana Cream For?
This Birthday Cake is something for growers who want to work with regular seeds. It suits:
- Selectors who would like to choose a mother plant from eleven seeds
- Hobby breeders who use male plants for their own crosses
- Lovers of sweet cake aromas with a vanilla and cream note
- Growers who like working with supports and training techniques

Growing Birthday Cake X Birthday Cake X Strawbanana Cream: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
T.H. Seeds reckons with three weeks of vegetative phase and then states 55 to 60 days of flowering. The breeder gives the height as 100 to 130 cm – it speaks of a medium-sized plant – and the yield as 450 to 550 g/m². According to the manufacturer, the strain responds to any kind of support and growing technique; so you can use topping, tying down or a net. According to the breeder, citrus and sweet notes show up early in flowering. Because the seeds are regular, it is best to germinate more seeds than the number of plants you want to keep and determine the sex in pre-flowering; you remove male plants unless pollination is wanted. You will find the basics in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
In the shop, the strain is listed for indoors and outdoors. However, T.H. Seeds does not state any figures of its own for open ground: there is neither an outdoor height nor a harvest time nor a yield per plant. Choose a sunny, sheltered spot and separate male plants in good time outdoors too if you want to harvest seedless flowers. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Birthday Cake X Birthday Cake X Strawbanana Cream
T.H. Seeds describes the flavour as that of a real vanilla cream cake. According to the breeder, citrus and sweet terpenes come to the fore early in flowering; the manufacturer does not state a lab terpene profile or individual terpene names. It describes the flowers as OG-like and resinous. T.H. Seeds gives no information on the effect of this strain, nor on the THC content – so we deliberately do not add any estimates. With regular seeds you should also expect differences between individual plants. How the effect turns out in each case depends on phenotype, harvest time, dose and individual tolerance.
Note: Effect information is based on manufacturer data and user experience and does not constitute medical advice.
