Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Brazil Amazonia
According to World of Seeds, Brazil Amazonia comes from the Brazilian rainforest, where the strain has grown wild for generations and is traditionally used by indigenous peoples. The breeder describes it as a primeval form of Sativa: extremely vigorous, heavily foliated and with huge, flexible flower clusters. To make the landrace more accessible for cultivation, an early-flowering variant was deliberately selected. According to the manufacturer, the result is a more compact, Sativa-dominant plant with improved flower set and increased cultivability. World of Seeds gives the THC content as 18.1%, and the breeder does not state a CBD value. The seeds of this item are feminised and photoperiod. If you would like to select or breed with the landrace, you will also find the strain in our range as Brazil Amazonia Regular by World of Seeds.
Who Is Brazil Amazonia For?
Brazil Amazonia is a strain for fans of original genetics who bring time with them. It suits:
- Lovers of landraces and primeval Sativas from the Amazon region
- Indoor growers who can plan for 75 to 90 days of flowering
- Gardeners in regions where harvesting is possible until the end of November
- Fans of bittersweet, fruity, tropical aromas with a tart note
- Consumers looking for an effect that is stimulating at first and relaxing later
If you would like to harvest after a few weeks of flowering, this strain is not such a good choice. You can find more strains of this kind under feminised Sativa strains.
Growing Brazil Amazonia: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Indoors, World of Seeds gives the flowering time as 75 to 90 days, i.e. around 11 to 13 weeks after the switch to 12/12. The manufacturer puts the yield at up to 400 g/m². Because of the heavy flowers, it expressly recommends good ventilation and support measures, such as stakes or a net. The breeder does not state a height; it describes the selected variant as more compact than the wild original form, but the plant itself as extremely vigorous and heavily foliated. So plan for enough space and switch to flowering early if necessary. You will find the basics on climate and training in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
For open ground, World of Seeds states a harvest at the end of November and 500 to 600 g per plant. The manufacturer describes the strain as robust and vigorous, with medium resistance to mould and pests. Such a late harvest date can only be achieved where autumn stays warm and frost-free for a long time; elsewhere, growing under glass or in the grow room is the more realistic choice. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Brazil Amazonia
World of Seeds describes the scent of Brazil Amazonia as intense and sweet-fruity with a tart note. For the flavour, the manufacturer cites a bittersweet, tropical-fruity profile with a mild finish. It does not give a lab terpene profile. According to the manufacturer, the effect runs in two phases: it begins alert, clear and energetic, i.e. cerebral, and over time turns into a deeper, body-focused relaxation. World of Seeds therefore sees the strain both for creative hours during the day and for quiet evenings. The breeder gives the THC content as 18.1%; it provides no information on the CBD content. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
