Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Caramelo F1 Fast Version
Caramelo F1 Fast Version – called Caramelo Fast for short by the manufacturer – comes from Delicious Seeds. The breeder describes a fast-growing, robust hybrid strain and gives the genetics as 30% Indica and 70% Sativa. The manufacturer does not say which parent strains are behind it, nor does it explain the F1 suffix in any more detail. The THC content is 20%; a CBD value is missing. The very short flowering time of 40 to 45 days is striking. The seeds are feminised, and the strain is listed as photoperiod: so it does not flower by itself, but only after the light cycle is switched to 12/12. Delicious Seeds gives "cool" as the climate. Without the Fast suffix, the breeder also offers Caramelo; you should compare the data of the two strains separately.
Who Is Caramelo F1 Fast Version For?
Caramelo F1 Fast Version is a Sativa-leaning strain with a short flowering window. It suits:
- Indoor growers who want to harvest after 40 to 45 days of flowering
- Growers who work with Screen of Green (ScrOG)
- Outdoor gardeners in cooler locations with sufficient space
- Lovers of unusual aromas such as walnut, lavender and liquorice
- Consumers looking for a stimulating high with a relaxed finish
It is less suitable for anyone who wants to know exactly which parent strains they are growing – the manufacturer is silent on this. You can find more fast strains under High Yield & Short Flowering.
Growing Caramelo F1 Fast Version: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
In the grow room, according to Delicious Seeds, Caramelo F1 Fast Version is finished in just 40 to 45 days of flowering, counted from the switch to 12/12. The breeder states a yield of 450 g/m², while the growing text speaks of a decent yield. According to the manufacturer, this makes the strain interesting for growers who are after a fast turnaround. As a training method, it recommends Screen of Green: the shoots are spread out horizontally under a net, creating an even, well-lit flowering canopy. Delicious Seeds gives no height figures. Because the flowering phase is so short, the net should be largely filled before the switch. You will find the basics on training in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, according to the manufacturer, the strain thrives in a cool climate and is ready for harvest in the first to second week of October. Delicious Seeds states 500 g per plant. According to the breeder, the plant should be given a little more space for lush flowering. A sunny, airy spot helps to keep the flowers dry until harvest; the manufacturer does not give a height for outdoors. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Caramelo F1 Fast Version
For this strain, Delicious Seeds clearly distinguishes between flavour and scent. The flavour is sweet and penetrating, reminiscent of walnut, with subtle skunk notes. The breeder describes the aroma as floral and musky with a hint of lavender and liquorice. The manufacturer does not give a lab terpene profile. According to the manufacturer, the effect sets in quickly: first a cerebral, euphoric head high, which then turns into a more relaxed state. Motivation and energy are said to be maintained, so that you stay active and inspired instead of becoming sluggish. The THC content is 20%; so approach it with small amounts if you do not yet know the strain. How intense the effect is depends on dose and personal tolerance.
