Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Cereal Milk
Cereal Milk starts with Y Life, a descendant of Girl Scout Cookies and Cherry Pie. According to Royal Queen Seeds, it inherited sweet, fruity terpenes from these parents; the manufacturer describes its effect as uplifting. The breeders crossed it with Snowman, also known as Snowman OG – a frosty hybrid with 23% THC and pronounced vanilla notes. The result is a slightly Sativa-dominant strain with 60% Sativa and 40% Indica, 23% THC and a low CBD content. The manufacturer describes its flowers as particularly sticky. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod, so flowering only sets in after the light cycle is switched. If you would like to get to know one of the original lines, you will find, for example, Girl Scout Cookies by Barney's Farm in our range.
Who Is Cereal Milk For?
Cereal Milk combines an unusual aroma with high potency. It suits:
- Aroma lovers looking for vanilla and blueberry notes
- Indoor growers aiming for 450 to 500 g/m²
- Outdoor gardeners who can harvest as late as mid-October
- Consumers who appreciate a creative, motivating high
- Anyone who would also like to process their flowers into edibles
It is less suitable for consumers with a low tolerance, because 23% THC is strong, and for anyone looking above all for a heavy, body-focused effect. You can find more strains for open ground under outdoor seeds.
Growing Cereal Milk: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
In the grow room, according to Royal Queen Seeds, Cereal Milk grows 80 to 140 cm tall and is ready for harvest after 8 to 10 weeks of flowering. The manufacturer gives the yield as 450 to 500 g/m². The range in height is wide: with timely topping or tying down you keep the canopy flat and distribute the light more evenly. According to the manufacturer, the flowers are particularly sticky; good air movement and controlled humidity in the final weeks help to bring them to ripeness in good health. The Growpedia provides background knowledge on training and climate.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, Cereal Milk is ready for harvest in mid-October. Royal Queen Seeds states 625 to 675 g per plant, depending on soil conditions and sunlight. There are two figures for the height: the data sheet lists 160 to 200 cm, while elsewhere the manufacturer speaks of a maximum of 140 cm – to be on the safe side, plan with the larger value. In the data sheet, the manufacturer assigns the strain to the “short summers” climate zone; because of the harvest in mid-October, a sunny spot protected from autumn rain is nevertheless advisable. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Cereal Milk
According to Royal Queen Seeds, Cereal Milk stands out for a rare vanilla flavour accompanied by familiar blueberry aromas; both notes are said to be strongly perceptible with every draw. The breeder does not list individual terpenes. The manufacturer does not give a lab terpene profile. Because of its aroma, it also recommends the flowers for edibles such as brownies and cakes. It describes the effect as cerebral, motivating and long-lasting: an uplifting high that is said to put you in a creative state. The data sheet sums it up with the keywords focus, creative and long-lasting. With 23% THC the effect sets in distinctly, which is why a cautious start is recommended. How strongly you experience it depends on dose and personal tolerance.
