The story of Cinderella 99 is told by breeder MrSoul himself: in 1996 he found a few seeds in a Jack Herer flower from the Amsterdam coffeeshop "Sensi Smile". One of them grew into "Princess", a compact plant with very psychoactive resin and a tropical fruit aroma; her father is unknown. To make Princess available as seed, he crossed her with a Shiva Skunk male and crossed the offspring back to Princess generation after generation – he calls this "cubing". Cinderella 99 emerged via the stages P.50, P.75, P.88 (Cinderella 88) and P.94. After Brothers Grimm closed in 2002, the strain was unavailable until the relaunch in 2016 and attained cult status.
