Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Coco Fresh
Coco Fresh is created from a Runtz mother that Perfect Tree crossed with a reversed Coco Milk plant, i.e. one induced to produce pollen. According to the breeder, Coco Milk was first presented at Spannabis 2023 and then added to the feminised line, where it pollinated four elite mothers from its own stock – Coco Fresh is one of the resulting hybrids. Perfect Tree describes the strain as a reinterpretation of the original Runtz, complemented by Coco Milk's creamy, gas-like terpene blend. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod; flowering therefore only sets in after the light cycle is switched. The manufacturer gives no information on the ratio of Indica to Sativa and speaks only of a hybrid; THC and CBD values are missing too. If you would like to compare the Runtz side, you will find Runtz by Barney's Farm in our range.
Who Is Coco Fresh For?
Coco Fresh is a strain for lovers of fine, creamy aromas. It suits:
- Runtz fans who would like to try a creamier, gassy variant
- Growers who plan for 8 to 9 weeks of flowering
- Collectors who want to get to know Perfect Tree's Coco Milk line
- Resin lovers who value densely packed trichomes
- Consumers looking for a deeply relaxing effect
If you need firm figures on THC, height and yield before buying, you are better served by a more precisely documented strain. You can find more strains for the grow room under feminised indoor seeds.
Growing Coco Fresh: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Indoors, Coco Fresh needs a flowering time of 8 to 9 weeks after the switch to 12/12; elsewhere the manufacturer even speaks of just 8 weeks, as with the other strains of the Coco Milk line. Perfect Tree rates the yield as high but stresses that it depends heavily on the grower's work and rewards an attentive eye. The manufacturer does not state specific values in g/m² or a plant height. According to the description, the flowers reach a decent size and are abundantly covered in resin. Good air movement and controlled humidity in the final weeks help to bring them healthily to harvest; a carbon filter keeps the smell in the room. You will find the basics on climate and training in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Perfect Tree lists Coco Fresh for growing both indoors and outdoors but gives no further details for open ground: neither on height nor on the harvest date or the yield per plant. As a photoperiod strain, it only begins to flower outdoors as the days get shorter. A sunny spot sheltered from the wind is the safe choice. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Coco Fresh
Perfect Tree describes the flavour profile of Coco Fresh as subtle and refined: a mild, gassy base note plus a creamy sweetness. The breeder attributes the terpene blend to Coco Milk, which gives the Runtz base its creamy-gassy direction; figuratively, it speaks of a tropical beach and the freshness of natural coconut water. The manufacturer does not state a lab terpene profile. It describes the trichomes as glistening and intensely flavourful. The effect is portrayed as intense relaxation, as sinking into calm after the strains of everyday life – so more of a strain for quiet hours. Perfect Tree does not give a THC value; according to the description, the abundant resin points to potency. How strong the effect is in an individual case depends on dose and individual tolerance.
Note: Effect information is based on manufacturer data and user experience and does not constitute medical advice.
