Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Cosmic Kiss
For Cosmic Kiss, Sensi Seeds crossed Rainbow Belts 2.0 with Bacio – with the aim of increasing resin production and cannabinoid content. According to the breeder, the strain inherits its Indica dominance from Bacio, which makes up a large part of the genetics. It becomes visible in the compact structure and the deep green, broad-fingered leaves. Rainbow Belts 2.0 contributes the subtle Sativa influence, which Sensi Seeds finds again in the flavour profile, in the uplifting effect and in the above-average stretch at the start of flowering. The bottom line is 80% Indica and 20% Sativa. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod. The manufacturer calls Cosmic Kiss highly potent but does not put a figure on THC and CBD. Buttercream Gelato and Papaya Jealousy also come from the Sensi Seeds catalogue.
Who Is Cosmic Kiss For?
At United Seedbanks, Cosmic Kiss is rated as a strain for experienced growers. It suits:
- Experienced growers who work with topping, low-stress training or SCROG
- Indica lovers who appreciate dense, resinous flowers with purple tones
- Growers with enough room height for plants 120 to 140 cm tall
- Outdoor gardeners in warm, sunny locations with a long summer
- Consumers who like sweet berry and citrus aromas
Because of its stretch, the strain is less suitable for very low grow rooms, and we do not recommend it for a first grow. You can find other high-yielding strains under High Yield & Short Flowering.
Growing Cosmic Kiss: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Sensi Seeds gives an average flowering time of 55 to 65 days. The plants form a robust frame with closely spaced nodes and healthy branching, but they tend to stretch and reach 120 to 140 cm indoors. Topping or low-stress training help to control the height; the breeder also names SCROG, SOG, supercropping and lollipopping as suitable techniques. According to the manufacturer, the harvest potential is 550 g/m². The flowers sit clustered at the nodes and become dense – make sure there is good air movement. Sensi Seeds describes cultivation as easy; we nevertheless rate the strain for experienced growers. There is more on the training techniques in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, according to the manufacturer, the plants easily grow 160 cm tall; the final height depends on the growing conditions. As a prerequisite, Sensi Seeds names a warm, sunny climate with a long summer. Yields can be over 600 g per plant. Because branches can break under the weight of the flowers, the breeder advises a support, such as a garden stake. It does not state a harvest date. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Cosmic Kiss
According to Sensi Seeds, the scent starts out sweet, almost sugary. This is followed by citrus notes, accompanied by earthy and floral undertones and a hint of diesel. On the inhale, sweet berries and zesty citrus fruit are to the fore; later an earthy flavour comes through. The manufacturer does not give a lab terpene profile. It describes the effect in two phases: first a euphoric rush with feelings of happiness, creativity and mental clarity, which over time turns into a long-lasting, heavy physical high. Slight sedation and drowsiness are said to be typical. Sensi Seeds calls the strain highly potent and a popular choice among experienced consumers, but does not give a THC value. How strongly Cosmic Kiss acts depends on dose and individual tolerance.
