It began with the cross of elite cuttings of Grandaddy Purps and Orange Bud, which the breeder calls Orange Punch. It impressed in terms of flavour but remained below average on yield. Only crossing in a high-yielding, THC-rich Critical brought the turnaround: according to the manufacturer, its vigour drastically improved the yields. Dutch Passion describes the result as a true hybrid, without putting figures on the Indica and Sativa shares, and lists the strain in its Orange family and as a prize winner – the data sheet does not name the competition or the year.
