Genetics & Origin of Dark Star x AK-49
The name says what is inside: Vision Seeds crossed Dark Star with AK-49. The breeder calls the strain the shining star of its catalogue but gives no further details on the origin of the two parents. The result is clearly Indica-heavy – 90% Indica and 10% Sativa. Vision Seeds gives the THC content as up to 24% and the CBD content as at most 1%. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod, so flowering only begins after the switch to 12/12. Vision Seeds also lists AK-49 as a strain in its own right, in case you would like to grow one half of the cross on its own.
