Easy Sativa 4 seeds

Genetics & Origin of Easy Sativa

Female Seeds keeps the pedigree of Easy Sativa under wraps: the breeder speaks of a new-school Sativa with a mysterious family tree and names neither parent strains nor Indica and Sativa proportions. The breeding goal, on the other hand, is clearly stated. The strain was bred for outdoor performance, with Dutch outdoor growers, harsher climates and short summers in mind – so also for northern locations. One special feature is its flowering behaviour: according to the manufacturer, Easy Sativa is semi-automatic. If you start it indoors, by its account it would flower prematurely in May, which is why it is sown directly outside. The seeds are feminised. Female Seeds gives no information on THC and CBD. Its extreme mould resistance, even in wet summers, is highlighted. You can find more strains for open ground under feminised outdoor seeds.

Who Is Easy Sativa For?

Easy Sativa is an outdoor strain for short summers. It suits:

• Outdoor growers in Northern Europe who want to harvest in September
• Gardeners in damp regions who need a mould-resistant strain
• Growers with room for bushy plants of 1.5 to 2.5 m
• Greenhouse owners who would like to sow directly in spring
• Consumers looking for a bright, motivating Sativa effect for the daytime

It is less suitable for the grow room: the manufacturer bred it for outdoors and advises against starting it indoors. You can find strains for growing under artificial light under feminised indoor seeds.

Growing Easy Sativa: Indoor & Outdoor

Indoor Growing

Female Seeds gives no information for indoor growing – Easy Sativa was bred as an outdoor strain, and the manufacturer expressly advises against starting it indoors: because of its semi-automatic flowering behaviour, it would otherwise flower prematurely in May. The breeder states a flowering time of 7 weeks. With a growth height of 1.5 to 2.5 m, the strain also needs a lot of space. If you still want to try it under artificial light, you cannot rely on manufacturer figures for yield per square metre or indoor height. It is better off in a greenhouse, which the breeder names as a location alongside open ground. You will find general basics on growing in the Growpedia.

Outdoor Growing

According to Female Seeds, sowing takes place directly outside between mid-April and mid-May, without starting indoors – in open ground, in a greenhouse or, with some limitations, on a balcony, as long as it is sunny. The plants grow large and bushy and reach 1.5 to 2.5 m depending on care. In Northern Europe, harvest falls in September, before the autumn weather sets in. On top of that, according to the manufacturer, there is extreme mould resistance, which provides security even in rainy summers. The breeder does not state a yield per plant. Only grow where it is legal to do so.

Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Easy Sativa

In terms of aroma, Easy Sativa shows range: Female Seeds describes the smell as spicy to sweet, occasionally with perfume-like outliers, and points out that each phenotype brings its own note. The flavour is tart and fresh – the breeder compares it to sage on a lemon cake, only less sweet and much greener. It does not name individual terpenes or give a lab terpene profile. Female Seeds describes the effect as typically Sativa: bright, friendly and motivating, not a strain for the sofa but for active days in the garden. The manufacturer does not give a THC value, so the strength cannot be quantified. How intense the effect is depends on phenotype, dose and individual tolerance.

Note: Effect information is based on manufacturer data and user experience and does not constitute medical advice.
