Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Fast N' Glorious
With Fast N' Glorious, Mandala Seeds builds on its in-house Mandala #1, which the breeder calls its outdoor strain for the north. The basis is a specially selected, early-flowering mother from the Mandala #1 lines, crossed with an original South African strain – in the data sheet: Early Mandala #1 × South African Highland. According to the manufacturer, the aim was an even earlier start of flowering in order to make safer harvests possible in unreliable weather, without sacrificing potency and authentic flavour. The strain is mainly Sativa and contains 18.5 to 21% THC and 1% CBG. As regular seed it produces male and female plants and is therefore also suitable for selection and your own breeding projects. Another regular strain from the breeder is Beyond the Brain Regular.
Who Is Fast N' Glorious For?
Fast N' Glorious was developed for unreliable summers. It suits:
- Outdoor gardeners in northern latitudes who want to harvest at the end of September
- Growers in humid, hot or cool regions
- Selectors and hobby breeders who work with regular seeds
- Organic gardeners – according to the manufacturer, the genetics are optimised for organic growing
- Consumers who appreciate a clear, creative Sativa high
It is less suitable if you want exclusively female plants without any selection work or are looking for a heavy, body-focused effect. You can find more lines of this kind under regular Sativa strains.
Growing Fast N' Glorious: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
In the grow room, Mandala Seeds gives the flowering time as 60 days and more and the dry yield in organic growing as over 500 g/m². The breeder gives the plant height only as “slightly tall”, and the plants stretch a little in flowering; the lime-green colas then fill out quickly. Left unpruned, the natural growth pattern allows dense planting in a Sea of Green style, from seeds or cuttings, according to the manufacturer. The smell is considered not to be overpowering. As the seed is regular, you determine the sex in pre-flowering and remove the male plants unless you want to produce seeds. You can find more on this in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
The strain was developed for open ground: according to Mandala Seeds, harvest time in the north is the end of September, and for plants in the ground the breeder states 1,000 to 1,100 g and more per plant. Topping produces wide, bushy plants and limits the height if required, in the greenhouse too. A high calyx-to-leaf ratio and the airy canopy increase mould resistance; according to the manufacturer, the strain copes with heat, cold and damp locations. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Fast N' Glorious
Mandala Seeds describes the aroma of Fast N' Glorious as minty, herbal and fruity; according to the breeder, the smell of the growing plants is not overpowering. The manufacturer does not give a lab terpene profile. For the high it uses the terms uplifting, clear, creative, focused and happy. It is said to spread effortlessly and last a long time; Mandala speaks of an “awakening” that supports creative and social undertakings and opens up new perspectives. The THC content is 18.5 to 21%, plus 1% CBG. With regular seeds, individual plants can differ in aroma and strength. How intensely you experience the effect also depends on dose and personal tolerance.
