Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Garlic Stash #21
Garlic Stash is a line from Dragons Flame Genetics that the breeder describes as an all-rounder: it is meant to cover all bases, smells extreme and, in its words, is in no way subtle. Number 21 belongs to this line. Dragons Flame Genetics does not state which parent strains are behind it, nor shares of Indica and Sativa or values for THC and CBD. What is documented, by contrast, are the key growing data and the aroma; the breeder rates the resilience as medium-high. The strain is photoperiod and comes as regular seed, so it produces male and female plants – a basis for your own selections. Also regular and from the same breeder is Orange Stash “Lisa” Regular.
Who Is Garlic Stash #21 For?
Garlic Stash #21 is not for friends of subtle scents. It suits:
- Lovers of savoury garlic and Skunk aromas
- Selectors who choose their mother plant from 10 seeds
- Hobby breeders who want to carry on working with male plants
- Growers who can plan for 9 to 10 weeks of flowering
- Consumers looking for a heavy, sedating effect in the evening
The strain is less suitable if you have to grow inconspicuously or expect documented information on the cross, THC and yield – the breeder does not state these. You can find more lines from North America under US Genetics.
Growing Garlic Stash #21: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
For indoor growing, Dragons Flame Genetics states 9 to 10 weeks of flowering, counted from the switch to 12/12. According to the breeder the yield is good, but it does not state a figure. By its description, the flowers line up along the shoots like pearls on a string and become very hard. Details on height are missing. Because the seeds are regular, it is best to germinate more seeds than the number of plants you want to keep and determine the sex in pre-flowering. The breeder calls the smell extreme – a powerful carbon filter is therefore part of the basic equipment. There is more on climate and air extraction in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
For open ground, the breeder states a harvest date from 7 to 15 October, based on a full season in the Pacific Northwest of the USA. This can only be transferred to other regions to a limited extent. It describes the resilience as medium-high; height and yield per plant are not given. A sunny, airy spot helps to keep the hard flowers dry in autumn. You can find more strains of this kind under regular outdoor seeds. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Garlic Stash #21
The smell is the hallmark of Garlic Stash #21: coarse garlic, plus skunky, sour and foul notes. According to the breeder, some plants lean more towards a heavy, sweetish garlic. As a terpene profile, Dragons Flame Genetics lists only these aromas; the manufacturer does not name individual terpenes or a lab profile. The flowers are meant to convince visually too – the breeder promises that they will impress even picky smokers. It describes the smoke as potent, with a heavy, sedating effect and a permanent grin. It does not give a THC value. With regular seeds, the plants also differ from one another. How the effect turns out depends on phenotype, dose and personal tolerance.
Note: Effect information is based on manufacturer data and user experience and does not constitute medical advice.
