Genetics & Origin of Girl Scout Cookies
According to Original Sensible Seeds, Girl Scout Cookies, GSC for short, is one of the most popular cannabis strains of all. The genetics unite OG Kush and Durban Poison into an Indica-dominant plant with 80% Indica and 20% Sativa. The breeder gives the THC content as 22%; it does not state a CBD value. Compact, resinous flowers sitting among purple-tinged leaves are characteristic. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod – flowering only starts with the switch to 12/12. According to the manufacturer, the strain adapts easily to different conditions, indoors and outdoors alike. For comparison, you will find Girl Scout Cookies by Barney's Farm in our range; an OG Kush is available, for example, as OG Kush by White Label Seed Co.

- Outdoor growers who would like to harvest in early October

Growing Girl Scout Cookies: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Indoors, according to the data sheet, Girl Scout Cookies is finished after 65 to 70 days of flowering, while elsewhere the manufacturer states 70 days. For the yield, 500 g/m² is given in the data sheet and 450 g/m² elsewhere; so reckon with 450 to 500 g/m². Original Sensible Seeds does not state a plant height. The manufacturer describes the strain as very adaptable; in the shop it is nevertheless rated as a strain for experienced growers. Compact, resinous flowers benefit from good air movement and controlled humidity in the final weeks, and a carbon filter keeps the smell under control. There is more on climate and training in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, according to the manufacturer, harvest is in early October; the yield is 700 g per plant. Original Sensible Seeds lists the strain for indoors and outdoors alike, and there is no information on height in open ground. Choose a sunny, sheltered spot and support heavy shoots in good time so that the plants stand firm until harvest. You can find more strains for the garden under outdoor strains. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Girl Scout Cookies
Original Sensible Seeds describes the flavour as spicy and fruity, and as the name suggests, the breeder counts Girl Scout Cookies among the sweetest strains. The manufacturer does not give a lab terpene profile. The effect is considered well balanced: according to the description, it begins with an intoxicating high and develops into a floating, dreamy state of well-being and pure relaxation. At 22% THC the strain is strong; the manufacturer speaks of a very high level of potency. If you have little experience with strong strains, start with a small amount. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
