Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Glueberry O.G.
Glueberry O.G. belongs to the USA Special Line from Dutch Passion and unites three well-known names. The starting point was Gorilla Glue, according to the breeder the result of Chem's Sister, Sour Dubb and Chocolate Diesel. This line was crossed with an OG Kush, which Dutch Passion highlights for its distinctive flavour and its extreme strength of effect. The breeder then combined the offspring with its long-standing classic Blueberry – as a formula: (Gorilla Glue #4 × OG Kush) × Blueberry. Dutch Passion describes the result as an Indica-Sativa hybrid with XL yields; the manufacturer does not state percentage shares, and it assigns the THC content, without a figure, to the class “very high”. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod. You will also find the third parent in our range as Blueberry by Dutch Passion.
Who Is Glueberry O.G. For?
Glueberry O.G. brings American genetics together with a Dutch classic. It suits:
- Friends of Gorilla Glue and OG Kush genetics
- Indoor growers who plan for 8 to 9 weeks of flowering and 400 to 500 g/m²
- Outdoor gardeners looking for a robust strain for different climate zones
- Lovers of Kush aromas with a fruity note
- Consumers who appreciate a strong, cerebral high
It is less suitable for anyone looking for a mild strain – Dutch Passion rates the THC content as very high. You can find more potent strains under Super High THC Content.
Growing Glueberry O.G.: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Dutch Passion gives the flowering time as 8 to 9 weeks. Together with the recommended vegetative phase, the breeder reckons on around 12 weeks from seed to harvest. As the yield, it states 400 to 500 g/m². There are two figures from the manufacturer for the height: an average of 1.5 to 2 m and, elsewhere, around 1 to 1.5 m – without distinguishing between indoors and outdoors. So plan for enough headroom in the grow room or keep the plants flat with topping and a net. If you let it flower for longer, you get a more body-centred effect, according to Dutch Passion. You will find the basics on training and harvest time in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
For growing outdoors, Dutch Passion describes Glueberry O.G. as a robust strain that is suitable for various climate zones. At the Home Grown Cup 2018 in the Netherlands it took third place in the outdoor category. The manufacturer does not state a harvest month or a yield per plant; for the height, the 1 to 2 m mentioned apply. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Glueberry O.G.
Dutch Passion describes a pronounced Kush aroma and a fruity flavour, accompanied by piney, earthy tones and a peppery note. We do not have a breakdown of individual terpenes. The breeder assigns the effect to a hybrid: a powerful, head-centred high that turns out more body-centred with a longer flowering time. According to the manufacturer, the parent lines stand for connoisseur flavour and a special high (Gorilla Glue) and for an extremely potent result (OG Kush). Dutch Passion rates the THC content as very high but does not state a figure; the manufacturer does not give a CBD value. So approach it slowly – how intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
