Gorila Bilbo Seeds – GG4 Genetics by Genehtik Seeds
What is Gorila Bilbo? Gorila Bilbo by Genehtik Seeds is a feminised, photoperiod and Indica-dominant hybrid based on the clone of GG4, formerly Gorilla Glue #4. It flowers for 60 to 63 days, grows medium-sized and, according to the manufacturer, yields 500 to 600 g/m² indoors and 1,000 to 1,300 g per plant outdoors. For GG4, Genehtik states about 25% THC. Extremely resinous flowers, an earthy, sour citrus aroma and a very relaxing effect are typical. Because of the very high yield outdoors, we list it as a strain for experienced growers – in the Indica strains category. Available in a pack of 5 seeds.

Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Gorila Bilbo
For Gorila Bilbo, Genehtik Seeds worked with the well-known clone of the North American West Coast strain GG4, which used to be called Gorilla Glue #4. According to the breeder, this goes back to a chance cross of Chem Sister, Sour Dubb and Chocolate Diesel, is strongly Indica-dominant and has won important awards in the USA. GG4 is famous for its great resin production and a THC content of about 25%, sometimes more. With Gorila Bilbo, Genehtik aims to reproduce these characteristics in feminised seeds; the breeder does not state a separate lab value for the strain. An Indica-Sativa ratio in per cent is missing as well. The seeds are photoperiod and produce medium-sized, vigorously growing plants. Kritikal Bilbo also comes from the same breeder's catalogue.
Who Is Gorila Bilbo For?
Gorila Bilbo is a strain for resin and yield. It suits:
- Experienced growers who can cope with very large harvests outdoors
- Extract enthusiasts – the manufacturer recommends it for all kinds of extractions
- Indoor gardeners who want to harvest after around nine weeks of flowering
- Lovers of earthy, sour citrus aromas
- Experienced consumers looking for a strongly relaxing Indica effect
It is less suitable for a first grow and for consumers with a low tolerance; the breeder, too, recommends it to experienced consumers. You can find more potent strains under Super High THC Content.
Growing Gorila Bilbo: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Genehtik Seeds gives the flowering time as 60 to 63 days – after nine weeks the strain is ready for harvest, according to the breeder. The plants grow quickly and vigorously and stay medium-sized; the manufacturer does not state a height in centimetres. The strain data give 500 to 600 g/m² as the yield, with around 500 g/m² said to be usual. Feeding is important: Gorila Bilbo does not like high EC values, and the fertiliser dose should not be pushed to the limit, especially in flowering. The breeder describes the very thick, dense buds as fungus-resistant; good air movement nevertheless remains sensible. Genehtik calls growing it easy – because of the very high yield potential outdoors, we nevertheless rate it as a strain for experienced growers. You can read more about feeding in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, harvest falls in October in the Northern Hemisphere; the manufacturer does not narrow the date down any further. Genehtik states 1,000 to 1,300 g per plant. For such quantities, the plants need plenty of root space, a location in full sun and sturdy supports. The breeder does not give a growth height for outdoors. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Gorila Bilbo
Genehtik Seeds describes aroma and flavour as earthy, sour and citrusy. The manufacturer does not state a lab terpene profile. The resin is striking: the amount is said to be outstanding even to look at and the flowers extremely sticky, which explains the original name of the source strain. The breeder clearly assigns the effect to the Indica side and calls it very relaxing. It counts the strain among the strongest on the market and, because of the high THC content, recommends it to experienced consumers. The figure for GG4 of about 25% THC, sometimes more, serves as a guide value. So start with small amounts: how intensely you experience the effect depends on dose and tolerance.
