Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Gorilla Fast
Gorilla Fast is the fast version of Gorilla by 00 Seeds. According to the breeder, it retains the high THC content of the original but finishes flowering up to two weeks earlier. 00 Seeds does not state an exact cross. It is stated that the strain was created as an F1 cross of the photoperiod Gorilla Glue with an autoflowering line; it remains photoperiod itself and only begins to flower after the light cycle is switched. The Indica share is given as around 60%; the manufacturer makes no statement on this. 00 Seeds puts the THC content at 25%; the breeder does not state a CBD value. The seeds are feminised. Another fast version from the same house is Do-Si-Dos Cookies Fast.
Who Is Gorilla Fast For?
Gorilla Fast combines a high THC content with a very short flowering time. It suits:
- Growers planning quick runs with 40 to 45 days of flowering
- Outdoor gardeners who would like to harvest as early as the end of August
- Gorilla fans for whom the normal flowering time is too long
- Yield-focused indoor growers – the manufacturer states 500 to 600 g/m²
- Consumers looking for a happy, euphoric effect
If you have to remain inconspicuous outdoors, you should bear in mind the height of 200 to 250 cm – the strain is less suitable for that. You can find more recommendations under Best Feminised Seeds.
Growing Gorilla Fast: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
In the grow room, according to 00 Seeds, Gorilla Fast flowers for just 40 to 45 days, counted from the switch to 12/12 – the strain is not an autoflower but a fast-flowering photoperiod plant. The manufacturer gives the height as 80 to 100 cm and the yield as 500 to 600 g/m². Because flowering is so short, it is worth building the plants up well in the vegetative phase, as anything neglected can hardly be made up for later. 00 Seeds gives no training recommendations. Good air movement and a carbon filter are part of the basic equipment. You will find the basics on climate and training in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, according to the manufacturer's figures, Gorilla Fast grows 200 to 250 cm tall and is ready for harvest between 20 and 30 August. This means the harvest is brought in before the damp autumn weather begins. 00 Seeds does not state an outdoor yield; around 600 to 700 g per plant is quoted. Allow for enough space and a sunny spot. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Gorilla Fast
For Gorilla Fast, 00 Seeds describes earthy aromas with a hint of pine and lemon. The manufacturer does not give a lab terpene profile. The breeder describes the effect briefly as happy and euphoric. It gives the THC content as 25% and stresses that the fast version retains the high content of Gorilla. This makes Gorilla Fast a very strong strain: even small amounts can have a marked effect, and if you have little tolerance you should feel your way slowly. 00 Seeds does not state a CBD value. How intense the effect is in an individual case depends on dose and individual tolerance.
