Granita Seeds – 33 Splitter × Jet A by Perfect Tree
What is Granita? Granita by Perfect Tree Seeds is a feminised, photoperiod strain from a 33 Splitter mother and a reversed Jet A as pollen donor. According to the breeder, both parents go back to Gelato 33, crossed with the gassy OG lines Atom Splitter and Tina. The offspring show a powerful Gelato terpene profile and large flowers covered in trichomes from top to bottom. Perfect Tree states an Indica-dominant hybrid with 8 weeks of flowering; the breeder does not quantify THC or yield. The strain is considered extremely potent and is geared towards the evening – in the feminised seeds category. Available in a pack of 6 seeds.

Genetics & Origin of Granita
Granita was created at Perfect Tree from two parent plants that the breeder selected itself. The mother is a 33 Splitter cut found in seeds from Uprising Seeds; the pollen came from a reversed Jet A, a line from Exotic Genetix. According to the breeder, both parents essentially share the same lineage: the Gelato 33 cut combined with a gassy OG line – Atom Splitter in 33 Splitter, Tina in Jet A. Perfect Tree describes the mother as a solid, vigorous cut with a distinctive aroma and a striking structure that clones quickly and packs on a lot of weight. The feminised Granita is said to be particularly uniform: accordingly, almost every phenotype shows the same terpene profile. Perfect Tree classifies Granita as an Indica-dominant hybrid without quantifying the proportions; the breeder gives no information on THC and CBD.
Who Is Granita For?
Granita is a strain for anyone to whom terpenes and resin matter more than a detailed data sheet. It suits:
- Gelato fans looking for a particularly powerful Gelato aroma
- Growers who value uniform plants with the same terpene profile
- Lovers of large flowers heavily covered in trichomes
- Collectors looking for crosses of Gelato and OG lines
- Consumers with tolerance who want a very potent strain in the evening
Granita is less suitable for the daytime or before appointments: the breeder advises not to have anything else planned after consumption. In our shop it is listed under Indica strains.
Growing Granita: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Perfect Tree gives the flowering time as 8 weeks. The breeder does not state a plant height or a yield in g/m²; in its words, the yield depends on the grower's skill. The strain is photoperiod, so it only flowers after the switch to 12/12. According to the breeder, what is certain is that the plants turn out very uniform and form large, resin-covered flowers; the mother line packs on a lot of weight. So support heavy branches in good time and ensure good air movement in late flowering. Judge ripeness by the trichomes rather than by the calendar. You will find the basics in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
For open ground, the breeder states neither a plant height nor a harvest date or a yield per plant. Without information on ripening time, a warm, sunny spot sheltered from rain or a greenhouse is the safer choice, because large, dense flowers need dry air in autumn. Outdoors, too, watch the trichomes to determine the harvest time. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Granita
Perfect Tree describes the aroma of Granita as a rich Gelato terpene profile – "like Gelato 33 on steroids". The breeder refers to the parent lines Atom Splitter and Tina as gassy OG strains. It does not name individual terpenes or a lab profile, nor does it elaborate on specific flavour notes. On the effect it is more explicit: Granita is said to be extremely potent and geared towards night-time consumption, a strain that keeps you on the sofa for hours. It recommends not planning any further activities afterwards. There is no THC value for this. Approach it carefully, especially without tolerance: how strong the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
Note: Effect information is based on manufacturer data and user experience and does not constitute medical advice.
