Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Guerilla's Gusto
Guerilla's Gusto was developed and tested over several years in northern Spain before seeds from the best season reached Sensi Seeds in Holland via a customer. It began with an unusual combination of two Indian strains: a classic Indica from the north of the subcontinent and a more tropical line from the south with distinct Sativa traits. So that the offspring would also thrive in less warm climate zones, Sensi Seeds crossed this hybrid with parent plants of its own that are known for their resilience. According to the manufacturer, Skunk was an obvious candidate here; it does not name the other components. The result is 90% Indica. The seeds are regular and photoperiod, so they produce male and female plants. You will find the house's Skunk line as Skunk Nr. 1 Regular.
Who Is Guerilla's Gusto For?
Guerilla's Gusto is bred for open ground and above all needs headroom there. It suits:
- Outdoor growers in cooler regions
- Gardeners looking for a plant that needs little care
- Growers with enough space for tall-growing plants
- Hobby breeders who want to select using regular seeds
- Collectors of Sensi Seeds lines with Indian roots
The strain is less suitable for low grow rooms and for anyone who wants only female plants without selection. You can find more lines with male and female plants under regular seeds.
Growing Guerilla's Gusto: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Guerilla's Gusto is designed as an outdoor strain; Sensi Seeds gives no information on the yield in g/m² or on the height indoors. The manufacturer gives the flowering time as 50 to 65 days. If you nevertheless grow the strain indoors, for instance to select plants, you should take the tall growth into account and switch to 12/12 early. With regular seeds, you determine the sex in pre-flowering and remove male plants unless you want to produce seeds. You will find the basics on this in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Sensi Seeds recommends planting the young plants out in a sunny place in spring. If they stand in good soil and are watered regularly, they need little or no care for the rest of the growth phase. The manufacturer describes a large, immensely strong strain that reaches an impressive height, especially if it is allowed to grow unhindered all season – so it does not stay inconspicuous. The line proved to be earlier and more resilient than expected and is designated for cool to cold climates. Sensi Seeds describes the yield as large, without a figure per plant; the manufacturer does not give a harvest month either. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Guerilla's Gusto
Sensi Seeds gives no information on the aroma and flavour of Guerilla's Gusto in the strain description; the manufacturer does not give a lab terpene profile either. Nor is there a THC or CBD value. On the effect, it merely says that the strain delivers a balanced high and has more power than you would at first expect. We deliberately do not fill these gaps with estimates. What is certain is the composition: 90% Indica, derived from northern and southern Indian lines and resilient Sensi parents such as Skunk. Because these are regular seeds, individual plants can differ in scent and effect – a reason to grow several seeds and compare. How strong the effect is in an individual case depends on phenotype, harvest time, dose and individual tolerance.
Note: Effect information is based on manufacturer data and user experience and does not constitute medical advice.
