Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Hollywood
Hollywood comes from the seed programme of Cookies.co and is a cross of Lemon Cherry Gelato and Runtz. With it, the breeder invites you to explore the aromas and looks of the new, very popular "exotic" lines. It lists the strain as a hybrid without a percentage for Indica and Sativa and highlights three characteristics: an excellent calyx-to-leaf ratio, quick ripening and a great deal of resin that sticks to fingers and scissors when trimming. Many plants show purple phenotypes. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod. The manufacturer does not state a THC or CBD value. For comparison, you will also find strains of the same name in our range: Lemon Cherry Gelato and Runtz.
Who Is Hollywood For?
Hollywood is aimed at growers who put resin, colour and aroma first. It suits:
- Fans of Gelato and Runtz crosses
- Growers who plan for 8 to 9 weeks of flowering
- Indoor gardeners who shape an even canopy with low-stress training
- Lovers of purple phenotypes and very resinous flowers
- Outdoor gardeners who plan with around 450 g per plant
Hollywood is less suitable if you need a documented terpene profile or exact height figures – the breeder states neither. You can find more lines of this kind under US genetics.
Growing Hollywood: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
In the grow room, Hollywood flowers for 8 to 9 weeks after the light cycle has been switched to 12/12, according to Cookies.co. The data sheet states 600 g/m²; elsewhere the breeder speaks of plants with a medium yield. According to the breeder, many of the purple phenotypes benefit from low-stress training, i.e. gently tying down the shoots so that a closed canopy forms. Growth is given as medium-sized, and no height in centimetres is available; you control how large the plants become yourself through the length of the vegetative phase. According to Cookies.co, the flowers ripen quickly. The good calyx-to-leaf ratio shortens the work when trimming, although the abundant resin makes them sticky. You will find the basics on training in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
For open ground, Cookies.co states 450 g per plant. The breeder does not state a harvest time or an outdoor height. Choose a sunny, airy spot and keep the resinous flowers as dry as possible in the final phase. You can find more strains for outdoors under outdoor seeds. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Hollywood
Cookies.co itself speaks only in general terms of an exquisite bouquet that you keep coming back to. More specifically, the aroma is given as fruity-sweet with lemony cherry notes. The manufacturer does not give a lab terpene profile. The breeder also gives no details on the effect; it is considered balanced between relaxation and euphoria. Cookies.co does not state the THC or CBD content; so feel your way in with a low starting dose. How intense the effect is in an individual case depends on phenotype, dose and personal tolerance.
Note: Effect information is based on manufacturer data and user experience and does not constitute medical advice.
