Jack Flash 5 3 seeds

Genetics & Origin of Jack Flash 5

Jack Flash 5 comes from the Jack Herer line of Sensi Seeds. The breeders' aim was a Jack hybrid that brings the breeding advantages of a Skunk plant. To achieve this, a carefully weighed mix of Super Skunk and Haze was fed into the preferred Jack Herer mother over several generations; the desired traits were consolidated above all through backcrossing. The result has 65% Sativa and 35% Indica and, according to the manufacturer, is a winner of the Cannabis Cup – the strain description does not name the year or category. Instead of the four usual Jack Herer phenotypes, two recurring forms appear in Jack Flash: a compact Indica form and a Sativa-dominant form. Jack Flash 5 is offered here as feminised, photoperiod seed. Sensi Seeds also carries the original strain Jack Herer and Northern Lights Nr. 5 x Haze, which is likewise mentioned in the manufacturer's text, in its range.

Who Is Jack Flash 5 For?

Jack Flash 5 is aimed at Sativa fans with a bit of space. It suits:

• Fans of the Jack Herer line looking for a variant with Skunk influence
• Indoor growers who grow the compact Indica form in a Sea of Green
• Growers with space for medium to large plants who want to select a mother plant
• Outdoor gardeners with a site in a sunny, Mediterranean climate
• Consumers who appreciate an opulent Haze high

It is less suitable for very low grow rooms and for outdoor sites with a cool, short summer. You can find more classics under Classics and Landraces.

Growing Jack Flash 5: Indoor & Outdoor

Indoor Growing

Indoors, according to Sensi Seeds, Jack Flash 5 flowers for 60 to 70 days. The manufacturer describes two phenotypes: the Indica form stays compact enough for intensive cultivation in a Sea of Green and quickly forms pronounced flowers whose calyxes swell strongly and stack into resin-soaked strands. The Sativa-dominant form gains considerably in height during flowering; according to the breeder, the best results are achieved when it finishes at a height of one metre or more. Sensi Seeds recommends that growers with space for medium to large plants choose this phenotype as a mother plant. The manufacturer calls the yield abundant, without a figure; in the shop the strain is rated at 400 to 500 g/m². You can find more on Sea of Green and selection in the Growpedia.

Outdoor Growing

For open ground, Sensi Seeds names a sunny, Mediterranean climate and describes Jack Flash 5 as a tall-growing plant. The manufacturer does not give a harvest date or a yield per plant. Because the strain demands warmth and plenty of sun, a greenhouse is the safer choice in cooler regions. Plan for enough space and support tall shoots in good time. Only grow where it is legal to do so.

Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Jack Flash 5

Sensi Seeds gives only little information on the aroma: the manufacturer speaks of lush Skunk-Haze flowers and calls the smell of the Sativa-dominant phenotype almost incomparable. The manufacturer does not name individual flavour notes or a lab terpene profile – so we do not add any. As for the effect, Sensi Seeds emphasises that Jack Flash has lost none of the opulent Haze high of the Jack Herer plants and at the same time brings the power of its Afghani-Skunk ancestors. The breeder likewise describes the potency for mind and body of the Sativa-dominant phenotype as almost incomparable. The strain description does not give a THC value, and none is recorded in the shop either. How intense the effect is in an individual case depends on dose and individual tolerance.

Note: Effect information is based on manufacturer data and user experience and does not constitute medical advice.
